Food is always good BUT, As one of the most frequent customers and one of their top orders on Uber eats, I won’t be coming here anymore. I ordered on Uber eats before arriving to the restaurant. The food was not ready, which is fine because I prefer it fresh. But upon receiving my plate it was not how I asked for it through the app, and when I brought it to the women’s attention at the register, instead of understanding a customer she decided to take a snarky attitude and refuse My request. She proceeds to say you can’t switch out this combo with options. I said OK but I’ve ordered it this way through the app the last few times. She then still refused and instead of explaining what menu option I can switch out sides with she was just brief and said, OK what do you want! Honestly if I wasn’t hungry I would’ve walked out right there. They’re lucky I didn’t even file a lawsuit Against them about a month ago when my daughter went to open the door and their door handle came off, resulting in hitting her in the head. When I went inside to notify them about that, the manager on duty looked at me like I was crazy and didn’t want to understand anything I was trying to tell her. It’s one thing to be bilingual but it’s another thing to pretend you don’t understand what a person is trying to tell you when they’re speaking clear English that you clearly speak. This used to be my go to spot for lunch since working around the area back in 2010… And wow has...
Read moreI ordered lunch today to go. When I got there my order was wrong. No big deal right. So I told the girl what I ordered over the phone and she seemed to tell someone else and next thing I know they charge me, switch my order, and send me on my way. I get back to work to discover my order is wrong....its the same order that they told me when I first got to the restaurant. I called the store and asked for the manager. The manager right away was rude and defensive and wanted no part of my story. She gave me one option if I wanted my money back "i had to bring the food back to the store before she would issue a refund" so they got my order wrong when I first called, I tell them this when I arrive and they tell me they fixed it. I get to work and the order is wrong and NOW I have to bring the food back to get my money back? why not offer me a free meal. why not offer to give me what I want if I come back to the restaurant. but instead the manager was rude and extremely unprofessional. Never said sorry. Never offered to help. Honestly screw this place. Anyone going there is wasting money and time. They clearly do not care about their customers. The manager needs to be let go. she has zero people skills. If you want Spanish food, make the rive to Miami. All the places in Broward suck and treat their customers like they...
Read moreThis location may need diversity training. The workers are predominately one race and so are the customers. The training will help so that when people like myself walk in they won't stare or have an uncomfortable disposition. And because the customers are a reflection of the environment, they will follow the employees lead so that in turn they will not stare and their disposition wont be that of uncomfortablenes. We live in a world that is ever-changing. Even though you may not have been raised in diverse neighborhoods or for whatever reasons you may not have ever rubbed shoulders with certain races, it still isn't an excuse for not being able to interact with them. Especially when providing services.
It's sad because in 2014, I had an issue with the La Garanja in Hallandale, FL. About 8-10 of us (just happened to be all of the same race) were locked out). It was 15 minutes before closing. We knocked and pointed to their visible clock. The employees ignored us. When I called the following day to complain, the manager claimed he was the one on duty the night before and hung up on me about 2 times. The last time I called back, no answer.
Keep in mind, I handle people with professionalism...
