So my husband ordered food online. He ordered the house special egg foo yun among other things and asked for it to not have any pork in the special instructions section . And asked for fried rice no pork as well. They even called and verified that was what we wanted. The food came with white rice( we were fine with that because we weren’t charged) but the food came with pork in it. When my husband called back and said it came with pork the son Roy said “oh you can’t eat pork, so my husband said obviously someone here can’t eat pork if I ordered it with no pork. So after having nothing to say but ummm for a while he said he would credit us back $10, my husband said that he would like to be credited back what he paid for the meal, as only one person had the food. The others can’t eat pork. Roy then preceded to tell my husband that we shouldn’t order food online!!! So my husband asked if that’s how they do business he replied yeah! When we asked what his name was he told him Roy the owners son , and when asked if he could speak to the owner he said he couldn’t speak English.
I say all of this to say that if something goes wrong with your order you’ll have to deal with what sounds like a 17 year old boy who doesn’t know how to run a business. What if it was something more important like a serious food allergy?! The special instructions are there for a reason! I could see if when they called back they said we couldn’t prepare the food that way… own your mistake and move on. But then again, an adult running a business would know that, And for someone who handles the customer concerns to be so nonchalant and flippant...
Read moreSorely disappointed. I'd been ordering lunch from here, sometimes 3 or 4 days a week because of an illness it's sometimes all I can taste. Sadly, they don't seem to care about regular customers. Today they admittedly sent the incorrect food and did they would re- deliver after spending 10 minutes incoherently tying to establish if that what I wanted. So I didn't eat, anything. When I finally got on break, stahrving(!), the was nothing her . ☹. Very disappointed. Paid cash and I guess that's the bottom line for them, they were paid - just didn't deliver. The worst part is, when she kept asking me what I wanted to do, all of a sudden her English was incomprehensible. Maybe she thought I'd give up but the fact is, I need to eat, still. And when calling back the guy answering was like, 'oh, I'll tell them ' and hung up?! Oh well, I guess I'll let the people here know to be careful ordering from them too. The person claiming to be the owner is unprofessional, rude, combative and rude. It is unfortunate that this location will lose business due to his behavior. They take Zero accountability for any errors on their part and are always willing to argue and not let you complete a sentence when speaking. i cannot believe the level of disrespect.. Save your money and go elsewhere because his tone with you will ruin your appetite. Sometimes great service takes priority over all else.
