I was on my way home from picking up my princess from ballet and came across this restaurant and decided to take my babygirl out to eat for TACO TUESDAY, it was $2 tacos so though it was a good deal, just a heads up the chicharron, and carnitas tacos are the only ones that are not $2, there $3.50 also keep in mind is mandatory you order 4 tacos if you want the $2 taco deal.. I eat 3 the most and my daughter eats 2 but hey l told myself lets see how good these tacos are "shoot ill eat more Im hungry." 🤷🏽♀️The hostess greated us, and was also our Waitress, she was a lovely girl and very pleasant through the whole dining experience, the restaurant has a very lovely and clean atmosphere, I order chicken, 2carne asada, and el pastor tacos for my babygirl although she can only eat 2, I order chicharron, lengua, el pastor and carnitas, plus the other 2 that my daughter didn't finish, Plus I order and Elote(corn on the cob grated with cheese) and Orchata and soda for drinks.. The Elote (corn on the cob) was the Most Amazing part of the meal.. the taco meat for the chicken, carnitas and steak was dry and not well marinated/ seasoned.. the lengua and chicharron was just stale a bit for me, and the el pastor tasted like straight sugar! I couldn't even finish it..I have Mexican stepfather so I was just disappointed that I dint enjoy the tacos, and dont get me wrong there eatable, but not tasty and enjoyable, soaked alot of lemon and hot sauce ... and my bill coming out to $43, was just not worth it.. but again The Elote was amazing, and there's probably other dishes that are great, but NOT the tacos, and if the tacos not good, I just won't bother coming back,, dont know if it's Mexican cooks cooking, but it doesn't seem like it... Other than that, lovely waitress, nice atmosphere And the Elote was...
Read moreI’ve visited Casa Marin Cocina Mexicana twice recently, and unfortunately, both experiences were disappointing. The first time was during lunch with only one other table occupied, yet it took over an hour for our food to arrive. We ordered the Casa burrito dish with tampiqueña and chimichangas, but the food lacked flavor and was not memorable.
The second visit was as part of a group. Again, the restaurant was empty, but service was extremely slow. While the wait didn’t feel as long since we were chatting, the food arrived cold. I ordered the 12 oz churrasco with mashed potatoes (requested medium well), but the steak was cold and undercooked, and the mashed potatoes with cheese had an off taste. We also tried tacos al pastor, guacamole and chips, tostada Jaiba, pescado a la Veracruzana, camarones a la diabla, and some wine and cocktails. Unfortunately, most of the dishes were bland and lacked the authentic flavors I expected, especially for the price.
Overall, I feel the restaurant is overpriced for the quality and service provided. The kitchen seems to be underperforming, and there is a clear need for more attentive staff. I hope Casa Marin can improve both their food and service...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Casa Marin Cocina Mexicana, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The ambiance was vibrant and welcoming, perfectly capturing the essence of Mexican culture.
The menu offered a diverse range of authentic Mexican dishes, each prepared with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor. I started with the guacamole, which was incredibly fresh and paired perfectly with the warm, crispy tortilla chips. For the main course, I opted for the chicken enchiladas. The combination of tender chicken, rich sauce, and melted cheese was absolutely delightful.
The service was impeccable, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure that every aspect of our meal was enjoyable. Their recommendations were spot-on, and they were more than happy to accommodate any special requests.
To top it all off, the Coconut margaritas were some of the best I’ve ever had – perfectly balanced and refreshingly delicious.
Overall, Casa Marin Cocina Mexicanaexceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable Mexican dining experience. I will definitely be...
