Sigh... Where do I begin?

I used to work here a lil over a year ago and was excited at first but was very disappointed that my (at the time) fave boba shop was so rundown. It was disgusting and I tried my best to make it cleaner. I only worked there for two months before moving onto better things. But at the time the food was decent quality for an okay price and there was plenty of staff. The Pikachu was my all time fave! Now let's fast forward to now. It looks like they try to hide their flaws with lots of cute anime stickers. They have brand new, barely trained staff. Understandable seeing how it's new owners apparently. I went with my mom to grab something quick to-go since we pass by it on the way home from my current job. It took about 20 minutes for us to get our two boba teas and one poke bowl. There was no line and the place was dead, besides an Uber person waiting for an order. While waiting we decided to check out the reviews and we were shocked. My mom ordered a taro smoothie and a review warned about it being badly prepared. When she got hers, we had to ask them to reprepare it AND they forgot the toppings after doing so. I paid so I didn't care much. As long as it wasn't as CHUNKY with ice as it was before.(Barely blended, looked like a regular milk tea) My Horsetail was fine. My bowl took longer than expected and when I got it, the fried onion on top was stale and instead of raw salmon, I was given seared salmon. I didn't bother returning the bowl since I was hungry. And honestly maybe it was a sign not to trust the RAW fish... Makes me think they did it on purpose.... Like maybe it was bad. I saw them hushed and crowding together when preparing my bowl and I know from working in the food industry, that's NEVER a good sign. My rice was cold too. I get that they were closing in an hour but it's still disappointing. I refused to go there for the last year and regret wasting my money there today. I didn't bother getting a refund because I was just too tired from working 8 hours. Don't waste your time...

ROACH INFESTED This has occurred multiple times. The roaches are basically employees.

I went to this restaurant on Saturday and what a nightmare. First the line to place your order was heading back out the door. Second the girl that was taking the orders didn't know too much about what was in the drinks because she kept looking at the drink menu. Third after only placing a drink order because the wait for the food was more then 45 minutes. I still had to wait more then 30 minutes for my drinks. Now this isn't what made me irritated. It's the fact that the girl who was making the drinks was skipping over drinks orders and making what she wanted to make. People that came in 3 groups behind me were getting there drinks before me. Even after all of this I went back later in the day thinking that I might be able to get a poke bowl that i wanted earlier. I walk in it wasn't busy. I told the girl I would like to order a poke bowl. She immediately tells me oh we aren't selling anymore food for today because we where very busy earlier. So I just got another boba tea. While I was waiting on my drink which she had to make three times because she kept messing it up. This guy comes in right after me and places an order for food. She didn't tell him that they weren't selling anymore food and gladly took his order. I like this place the drinks are great but I will not be returning to this restaurant. I wish you all the...
