First time going here and it will be the last. Our experience was bad. First we got there and couldn't sit inside cause it was filled with reserved table so only had the outside. Then it took 10 mins just to get our water, place setting and menus. Our server was busy so another server took our appetizer order and drink order. Which we only got water and garlic rolls. There was barely any garlic on rolls just parm and oil on these dinner rolls. Finally when we placed our order. Not one time did the server tell us there is a long wait or the kitchen is backed up on pizzas. Took us an hour and half to finally get our food. Thank goodness we had rolls earlier or we would have been starving! It took the server 40 minutes to finally come over and check on us where we could tell her we were still waiting for our food for her to look into it. She came back after 20 mins to say the pizza kitchen was backed up. Even though tables around us who came after us got their pizza way before us. We didn't even order complicated pizzas. She offered us bread which was probably the least thing a server could do. The manager never came over, no one ever came over to apologize or anything. Only the server. We almost got up and paid for the rolls and left. It was ridiculous. When we finally got our pizzas. I should say when one of us finally got our pizza, you could tell it was made quickly and not great. I got pizza with vegan cheese and the toppings that came with it was so bad. The onions were not cooked and ton of them. The olives were so sparingly it was laughable. For a pizza "lover" place the pizza was sub par. Finally my partner got his pizza and the garlic was so minimal you couldn't call it a topping. When it was finally time to leave another server was helping us and brought us the check. Because we hadn't seen our actual server anywhere. When the other server brought us the check. She asked if we wanted to order dessert. At that point we just wanted to get out of there. There was no offer of free dessert or even something comp'd on our check as an apology for the hour and a half it took for us to get our dinner. Finally after another 15 mins our actual server came over and apologized again but that's it. My partner paid and we left. Never again will we go here. It was such a horrible experience! For an expensive pizza place, it was not...
Read moreI was pleasantly surprised. Lately, I've been counting my calories to lose weight but I also like to live a little. I initially went to this plaza to scope out a gym for a friend but this pizza place caught my eye. It had outdoor seating and inside had a warm, cozy feeling with dimmed amber lighting and a video of a fireplace showing on the big screen.
I decided to go in thinking that I would just guilty eating 2-3 slices. Nope. I ate almost an entire 13 inch pizza, sparing 2 slices for the next day.
I threw my diet away because the cheese on the pizza was so good. Am I a pizza expert? No. But I know that all of my favorite pizzas always had cheese that had a slight sweet, fresh whole milk taste. Not greasy or overly salty. That said, I tried to save myself from a complete sabotage and got the Margherita pizza. Like i said, I'm no pizza connoisseur, so I'm not sure if Margherita pizzas are supposed to only come with one basil leaf. I was hoping for more or at least be cut into ribbons and sprinkled all over. It's not enough to dock a star though because as I said, where I tend to get pizza from, I just tell them cheese.
Plus why dock a star when everything else was so great? Our server was a very nice lady who didn't let my slow-acting brain moments deter her from doing a great job. Attentive and relaxed. You could tell she was smiling through her mask.
So through the pizzas sheer goodness and our great service, I recommend...
Read moreWe were 6 persons with 2 large pizzas. Dough is very good and soft but the border was way too big. They use good quality ingredients but are very stingy putting add-ons on the pie. 1 was with mushrooms and one could barely see them. I even asked about this and the reply was poor, stating that they put little pieces and that is why one cannot see them. The 2nd one was a hawaiian and they stated their pineapple is imported from Italy in cans (one can get good pineapple in cans from a lot of places) therefore this item cannot be considered fresh. A lot of money for a barely decent product. All of us had a fair amount of outer rim crust/dough on each plate. Went to the restroom and noticed that in the stall where the toilet is, there was no toilet seat coverings (empty) and no soap although they have a sign on the wall that states employees must wash their hands prior to returning to the job. Disgusting if you have to open the door knowing there was no soap inside the stall. The environment in general is nice but the a/c is not enough to the point that a standing fan was being used which barely moved the air. I cannot state anything about the other items they sell/serve but if it is the same as the pizza, lookout for a let down. I am very...
