Iāve been to this Smoothie King location several times, and unfortunately, my experiences have been consistently frustrating. From the moment you walk in, it feels chaotic and poorly maintained. Tables and counters are often sticky, trash cans overflow, and general upkeep seems neglected. The store does not feel welcoming, and itās hard to enjoy a visit under these conditions.
What stands out most is the managementāor lack thereof. Employees often appear unsure of their duties, orders are handled inconsistently, and mistakes happen repeatedly. There doesnāt seem to be any clear training or oversight to help staff do their jobs properly. Management seems disengaged, and thereās little accountability for how the store operates day-to-day. This lack of leadership trickles down to both employees and customers, creating an overall disorganized and inefficient environment.
Customer service is heavily impacted by these management failures. Staff often appear distracted, inattentive, or unprepared to handle basic requests. Simple orders can take far longer than expected, and miscommunications between employees are common. It feels like there is no system in place to correct problems as they happen, leaving customers to deal with the consequences.
Staffing decisions also seem questionable. Itās noticeable that employees who are less engaged or less reliable often receive priority, while those who try to take initiative or work harder are overlooked. This inconsistent scheduling creates tension, lowers morale, and contributes directly to the poor customer experience.
The overall atmosphere of the store suffers because of managementās approach. On several visits, the environment felt chaotic, uncomfortable, and at times unpleasant to be in. Combined with noticeable cleanliness issues and sometimes strong odors in the store, itās clear that management has not prioritized creating a welcoming and professional space.
In short, the main issue here isnāt the employees themselves, but the management. Without proper leadership, accountability, and investment in training and organization, the store struggles to provide even a basic level of service or cleanliness. For anyone hoping for a reliable, pleasant experience at Smoothie King, I would not recommend this location. Management needs to take these concerns seriously if they hope to improve both employee performance and the overall...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreToday is Memorial Day and I had to work as many of us, I decided to go get me a smoothly for me and my son and I came a few minutes before closing time and there were two young kids closing, one young men and a young girl. The young girl helped me and as soon as she spoke I notice an attitude, I work in customer service and she was very rude, all she was worry about is closing and going home, which I totally understand that because I probably would feel the same way but I would never give a customer attitude ever, I would never made a customer feel bad because of my personal reason or me being tired and wanted to go home. I started my order by saying, I want two smoothies, one strawberry and banana and one passion passport two 20 oz I said, she never confirmed the order she charged me and when she said $18 I thought it was a little too high but I thought that the store provably had raised the prices so when I came to the counter she actually had 2 smoothies and working on the third one and I rectified and said I only ordered two, And from that moment on she was mad smacking on things, arguing with me that I said to her 3 smoothies she refused to refund me because she Cleary said that she wanted to go home and she didnāt know how to issue a refund. I said to her because your attitude, now I do really want a refund for a smoothly I didnāt order. She went back to the office cursing and really mad, she came back out and gave her co-worker the money for him to give it to me thatās how mad she got that she didnāt want to talk to me. That is not good customer service and please ask her to be more careful because thanks to the customers that come to the store there is a job opportunity for her and she should be thankful for it, specially nowadays. I wanted to tell her myself that but her attitude was that bad...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLiterally the 1st time I've had to call the police on a store. Made the smoothies but then failed to label which enhancer was in what smoothie. The guy told me that the manager would normally taste them to tell the difference but the manager wasn't there & he would try. Normally I wouldn't care but one had caffeine & I didn't want to take the chance of being up all night. So I told the employee that he'd either need to remake it or give me a refund.
He refused to remake or refund, said the manager didn't teach them how to refund and I was being difficult by not taking his word as a long time employee how the caffeine enhancer tasted. Told me I should come back another day for the manager or call the police, so I called the police.
Meanwhile the 2 employees are here badmouthing me, in front of my face, because I won't come back on a day the manager is at the store. I told them I'm not leaving until I get my money or the smoothies I ordered.
So here I am, waiting for the police since I can't get back my money or my $40 worth of smoothies & I will NOT be back. This was such a terrible experience I'm inclined to boycott @SmootheKing altogether, not just this store. Especially since the employee told me that the police have been called on them so often, they're now friends with the local cops. They're bragging about...
