Chang Long — Restaurant in Plastow

I'm giving them 3 stars because the girl in front was very polite and the food was ready in 10 min but I was disappointed in the food itself. The beef with mushroom was plain, shrimp lo mein tasted fishy and more like chow mein than a lo mein, general tso's was more spice than flavor but was cooked right not too much batter and a good amount of sauce, pork fried rice was soggy and lacking flavor, crab rangoons were really really sweet, pork strips were plain. Also the duck sauce was the orange kind like you get at the mall Chinese food places and I personally prefer the brown one. The egg roll was ok with some salt on it, the chicken fingers were good but all in all I wouldnt there...

Ordered chicken pad thai for me and my wife and wasn't great. It looked like good pad thai and had good amount of chicken and veggies in it, but it was almost completely flavorless. Had peanuts on top, so at lease you got some of that, but absolutely no sweetness, no fish sauce, and really no other flavors. Very bland dish. Also ordered pork fried rice for the kids and the pork tasted kind of funky. Not sure if it was bad or just not fresh, or if it was just not pork. Overall wasn't absolutely disgusting, but the pad thai dish didn't seem to represent any other pad thai I've ever gotten from several other places. Most likely will consider another takeout place...

This place made us both violently sick! The food tasted off we should have known! I called them to let them know something was up with the food and they haven’t had a manager in for days and they told me they don’t know when they’ll have one in. I didn’t want to leave this review but I had no choice. I called board of health as well. My wife said it tasted like dirty dish water but I swear everything was fried tasted like bad fish- i don’t know if the oil is very old or what’s going on with that but everything seems like it was old. Someone needs to be notified before they make more...
