Whether you're a student or a working professional, this price point is incredibly budget-friendly. What's more, the quality of the food has seen a significant improvement.
If you're a fan of spicy food, then this place is an absolute paradise for you. Their spicy hot pot and hot dishes will not disappoint. Moreover, if you feel it's not spicy enough, you can request extra spice, and they'll tailor it to your taste.
Overall, the changes at this restaurant are truly astonishing. Whether it's the taste of the food or the affordability of the prices, it's hard to believe. If you're a Berkeley student, this place is undoubtedly the king of budget-friendly and nearby dining options. Don't miss out on this opportunity; hurry up and...
Read moreAfter a 3 hours hike at Mt. Diablo in walnut creek, my friends and I decided to come here for some Chinese Barbecue Skewers. There were six of us and wee couldn't finish the food and pack some of the food.
The food quality was very good. The meat was very well marinated. I really like humin and the species they sprinkle on the food. I like the charcoal grill taste from barbecue.
I highly recommend you try the lamb skewer and beef skewers. Also, if you like organs, chicken heart and pig intestines are very good too. For side dishes, I also really like the grill eggplant and cold dish - shredded potatoes. If you feel like some rice and noodle, their sour and spicy noodle are very good, but very spicy.
Beside the food, the service was decent for a typical Chinese restaurant. The services was fast and efficient. Of course, don't expect a Michelin star service.
The price was reasonable. We ordered too much, so we end up with $75 person (include tips). I think a $35-50 person should be a fair a...
Read moreI had the worst dining experience here last Friday. We were a party of two and initially received our food in a reasonable amount of time, as there were only 2–3 other tables occupied. However, things went downhill when we placed an additional order around the same time a larger group with kids arrived and ordered a lot of food.

Eventually, we gave up, asked for the check (that was fast for them to do), and left. There were still parts of our order missing at the time we left. I don’t understand why we were treated this way. Honestly, it felt like discrimination. The only difference I could see was that we were students, and the other group appeared to be more “adult” and could potentially tip...
