Not long after our first experience on a Sunday evening, Derek (the owner/manager) contacted me about my review. He insisted that their business deserved a second chance, and sincerely apologized for everything that happened. I thanked him, and a couple weeks later he followed up and contacted me again, inviting me back and telling me a little bit more about deals on their website.
We called for delivery on another Sunday. They had lots of specials online - definitely check out their deals before ordering off the menu. This gave us the opportunity to try their parmesan breadsticks, in addition to a pepperoni and sun-dried tomato pizza, and 6 more chicken wings. I love the spicy garlic sauce on the wings - they were still too hot for my husband.
Our food arrived really quickly - faster than the estimated time we'd received on the phone. We ordered thin-crust this time (but perhaps we'll just order well-done next time we call in with the regular crust.) The thin crust was delicious - the dough is nicely seasoned and we liked our choice of toppings together with their yummy sauce. I believe that same marinara is what was served with the breadsticks. I'm going to need extra sauce next time - it's really good! I want to dip my pizza in it too.
I'm glad to know that this small business actually cared about our experience. Derek really did care. And he was so nice in his messages - I hope that he does really well. He has two new loyal fans!

On Sunday night at 9:30 we decided to call around for a pizza. I wasn't really hungry but my husband wanted one for delivery. We called Pizza My Way but they said they weren't still delivering, even though they weren't closed. Eat 24 was available though so we placed the order of a medium meat pizza and 6 garlic chicken wings for delivery. It totaled about $30.
I guess the person making the pizza was in a hurry because our pizza was really undercooked. Really, really doughy inside. It took 75 minutes to get to us, and arrived hot, so that couldn't be all Eat 24's fault. I liked the sauce on the pizza but we only each ate one piece. The wings were really fatty and too spicy for my husband. We were really disappointed.
However, two days later we baked the pizza for a while, and then broiled it afterward. it was a lot better with the dough completely cooked. The cheese still tasted kind of cheap, but the pizza itself was a lot better. It sucks that someone rushed our $30 pizza the night we originally ordered it and it was more or less inedible then, since it was noticeably better once it fully cooked. I'll stick with Domino's delivery for...
Read moreOn Fridays we have pizza night. We usually order either from Zachary's or My Way. Our past two orders from pizza My Way was disaster.
On the order before last one, I asked for the delivery time and I was told 1 hour, so I decided not to put an order. Then I was told that they can do it in 30 minutes as they have a delivery very close to my house. I accepted, but we did not get anything after an hour. I tried to call and they kept putting me on hold. Finally after being 20 minutes on hold in total in multiple calls, someone answered and told me that the delivery is at my door (1 hour and 20 minutes instead of 30 minutes in total). I called again to let the manager know and he told me not to order from there anymore. I thought with myself that he might have been tired and I said that is OK since we had good experience with them before and tried to be loyal. But with what happened on our last order (as comes bellow) will never order from them. I am trying to share this with everyone so they know who they are dealing with.
Most recent order, I order a LARGE half chicken pesto and half vegetarian pizza. What delivered was a medium size pizza with wrong toppings. Moreover, they charged us 8$ delivery fee which used to be free on all our previous orders. This time my wife got mad and called them and manager shouted on her over the phone and told her that I talked to your man and do not call...
Read moreIf you're in the Pleasant Hill or Concord area and craving a delicious, high-quality pizza, Pizza My Way is a must-visit! I recently had the pleasure of dining there and was thoroughly impressed by not only the taste of the pizza but also the outstanding service. The pizza itself was wonderfully delicious—perfectly baked with a crisp crust and fresh, flavorful toppings. It’s a real treat, especially knowing that all of their meats are Halal.
Finding Halal pizza in this area is no easy task, so discovering Pizza My Way was a pleasant surprise. The owner, Shakir, is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about his food. He took the time to explain the sourcing of their Halal meat, ensuring that everything is prepared in accordance with strict Halal standards. It was refreshing to see a business owner so dedicated to providing a great experience, both in terms of food and service.
The staff was friendly, attentive, and made me feel right at home. Whether you're looking for a quick bite or a more relaxed meal, this place delivers on all fronts. Highly recommend Pizza My Way to anyone in the area, especially if you're looking for...
