I went in to buy a birthday cake for my mother and have actually bought a cake from the same location for the last 7-8 years. And every year I get written on their Happy Birthday mom something to that effect but I always get some pretty flowers on it and have always been very happy about it. This time I call to get those flowers on it she says that day don't do that anymore and that they don't write on anymore. But then when I came in she said yes I can do it and the item was a disaster you couldn't even see what she had wrote on the cake itself Not to mention when you buy a birthday cake you are just expect to have something written on it to the effect of Happy Birthday. And it should not come with extra price just to say Happy Birthday if you're getting a birthday cake. She also refused to do any flowers on the cake. Then when we went up to the register that's when I saw what it look like I asked her for a certain color and it was blue which the cake is black or Brown I should say and it looks horrible she could not write Happy Birthday mom with you could barely see. And of course no flowers but what's even worse is then she tells me she's charging me $7 in change for doing it. I go online to pretend order a birthday cake for my mom same exact one and it says on their there's no charge for the writing so she charged me $7 for no reason please be aware that they're charging for things they should not be charging for I have never been so disappointed for wanting to simply get a cake for my mother and then to be told there's a charge just for writing Happy Birthday on there and I wouldn't actually mind paying for it if you could actually read it but then to go online And to find out there is no charge for it is unnerving Just saying very disappointed be going somewhere else for my cake. Also I just tried to call several times to see if I could speak to a manager and to no Avail nobody answers so if you wanted to order a cake or calling for whatever reason you would not get someone this is just poor business sense all the way around and this type of service will surely get you no...
Read moreI’m so disappointed !!! Cold stone is expensive, but there are certain products that I enjoy enough that I’m willing to spend the extra money. And before today, I’ve never had a bad experience. I don’t usually come to this location, though. I usually go to Gurnee. Today I’m very disappointed and feel like I got ripped off because I didn’t get what I ordered. I love the cake batter ice cream. No one else has anything quite like it. It’s occasional treat to splurge and spend the extra money on a cake batter or ice cream for myself with a few mix in. Today I get jhome to discover that they gave me vanilla ice cream. I could’ve gone to the grocery store and gotten two cartons of vanilla ice cream for what I just spent on this one little cup. I don’t want vanilla ice cream. I can have that any day. I want cake batter. That was a 25 minute drive from my house, I can’t go back that would be about a one hour round-trip. I’m really upset. Also when did they stop actually putting in enough mix ins that you get a Bite of them in every spoonful? I shouldn’t have to search through the ice cream to find a piece of cookie dough. This is definitely the last time I’m going back to the Kenosha cold stone. I know people make mistakes, but when you’re placing an order for ice cream, the most important thing for them get right is the freaking ice cream flavor!!! you chose! It’s the simplest and most most basic part of the job! How do you screw up the biggest part of the order? So if you can’t get that right of course you’re not gonna get the mix in right either. I just wish there was a way to get...
Read moreI used to enjoy frequenting this establishment. However, they have hired a “new” floor manager named Darrin who is rude, disrespectful and discriminatory towards individuals with service dogs. Before I could even step foot into this place of business I was being yelled at that I wasn’t allowed into the store due to my service dog. I explained that I was a disabled veteran and that my dog was my service dog; medical equipment. Per ADA guidelines and the sign on their door, I should not be getting yelled at and he was free to ask me the two legal questions allowed by law. My friend who was with me stepped out to call the owner of the establishment while I continued to be yelled at. This manager did not want to see or read any of the legalities that I had pulled up on my phone. He finally went in back to read the ADA guidelines that were posted and came back with an attitude stating “FINE! What do you want?” I explained that due to his attitude and behavior I was not comfortable with being served by him. He proceeded to then storm off to the back without any apologies for his inappropriate behavior. I would have left without giving this place my business had my blood sugar not been low. I made a complaint to the owner and to corporate. The disturbing part is that I have no idea if this individual was written up as he should have been. The owner wasn’t going to write him up and corporate wasn’t going to do so either until I pushed the issue. Both kept making excuses. There is zero excuse for this type of discrimination! It...
