D Lua Taco Shop — Restaurant in Pleasant Valley Township

Made an order for pickup 3 hours ahead of time and when I went to pick it up I waited 15 minutes at the window before anyone even spoke to me and a total of 20 minutes before my food was even handed to me. They also forgot things in my order so I had to go back. I have never left a bad review or any review in my life and have lots of patience especially for the fast food industry but this was absolutely ridiculous. The steak tacos are also extremely tough. Edit: No chance you are trying to say I didn’t place an order lol. Maybe it was 2 hours. It was ordered around 4:30 and picked up at what was suppose to be 7:30. Like I said I have understanding for the food industry but it was a little ridiculous when you assume pickup time is when the food would be ready. My first experience at this place was absolutely amazing! The Staff was very polite. Made me feel very welcome and helped with every thing I needed. The inside was beautifully put together and very clean. I ordered tacos both steak and pork. The meat was very tender. Cooked to perfection. Very well seasoned. Not bland at all. All the ingredients used taste fresh fresh! Best guacamole I’ve ever had! So fresh, so flavorful, so rich and creamy. I couldn’t get enough of it. The salsa bar was pleasing as well. Some of the best green salsa I’ve ever tasted! My taste buds were definitely in heaven after eating here. I was able to sample their boozy daiquiris which were absolutely delicious! Everything about this place from the staff to the food to the drinks were out of this world! 1000/1000 would highly recommend and will definitely be returning very soon...

Ok, so I came to the quad cities on work/vacation and my buddy insisted on me having Dlua taco shop. I ended up coming here many times, but this is what hook me one time I ordered some tacos and an Horchata. I asked the cashier if they could do an Horchata latte. He said no, but the owner was there and they had just gotten a latte machine so he poured me an espresso shot over my Horchata. So good!!! I tried their steak burrito, steak tacos, and Quesa Birria tacos on different days. Tried my friends carnitas 👌🏾 all Solid!
