Dunn Brothers Coffee — Restaurant in Pleasant Valley Township

I will never be Dunn exploring coffeehouses!

Dunn Bros serves up your typical coffeehouse experience. They offer baked goods, coffee, a nice interior, friendly staff and did I mention.. caffeinated products!

My friend Matt and I decided to make the semi-short drive to Dunn Brothers to try it out and see if it being on my list for a few years was worth it. Overall, everything was nice. The store was clean and had a fun vibe to it, the staff and patrons were chill. Prices were on par with every other coffee place visited so far. The coffee… well I ordered an iced caramel latte (in the frozen/blended variety) and it was good. Nothing stellar, but not bad.

They offer baked goods and a breakfast/lunch menu, but we ate at Van’s Pizza Pub & Grill, so neither of us were hungry. You know, overall, it was a pretty good place. It wouldn’t be first on my coffee stops, but it wouldn’t be last. They have 80+ locations in the states with most located in Minnesota and it spreads out from there. So if you are in the area, grab a coffee for you...

I use to love to go into this store. However, the have developed the same problem Starbucks was sued for, improper cup filling. I order a 20 oz mocha. At other coffee locations , and by definition, a mocha should not have froth. They have a new manager, very tall, that likes to speak down to the customers. I was told that my drink was not going to be remade due to my response to the young lady arguing with me on the phone about how to order my mocha.

I called the corporate office as well as the owner. When I ask for a 20oz latte. I want at least 19oz of liquid.

If you want rude immature young women to wait on you and argue about how full your drink is, visit the middle road Dunn Brothers location. I was given a free drink card. This wasted over a half hour of my time. Which is ten dollars if I were working. Worst...

Overall, I love coming here! I do wish they would go back to pre-covid hours. I come here with my kiddos sometimes as a treat and play UNO. It's a nice place to have one-on-one time with each of my kiddos. Wish there were more gf options, but what they have is still good! It can get a little pricey, but what isn't anymore?? Also a nice place to get some work done, if needed, or sometimes to just chill out in the sun.

Anyway, if you eat normally, highly recommend! Highly recommend the avocado toast... has ruined me for all avocado...
