Golly G's Ice Cream — Restaurant in Pleasant View

After months of going to the other and newer location in Clarksville, I now know why that location is considered to be far better. Upon entering the establishment I’m greeted with a scene made up of 4-5 young girls who seem to be more interested in chatting amongst themselves rather than serving customers. After finally gaining enough of the girl’s attention to place our orders, we were soon met with more issues. First off, our single scoop of ice cream appeared to be MAYBE what would be considered a kids scoop at the Clarksville location. Second, our milkshake was void of whipped cream even after being specifically asked for. Third, our cake square was wasn’t just dry, but borderline stale and on top of that, was even forgotten about by the cashier after paying. A mistake that easily could have been avoided if she, once again, was more focused on fulfilling our order rather than chatting with her coworkers. We will not be visiting this location from this point forward until the Pleasant View location is ran by more competent staff and will be going to the Clarksville...

The owner of this shop went above and beyond to show how much he cares about his company and recover for my first experience!!! I purchased a birthday cake for my sons 6th Birthday and to my understanding the normal baker wasn’t available and I received a ice cream cake that .. well I don’t even want to talk about the cake... I didn’t have time for a remake and I had to re decorate it myself.. but I’ve got to brag on this owner!!! When he found out about my experience he messaged me and asked for my address ( I thought to mail my refund)... 3 hours later this caring stranger showed up at my door on my sons birthday to personally apologize with my refund in one hand and a giant roaring walking talking dinosaur (that my little boy loved!!) and a birthday card for my boy with a gift card !! He went above and beyond to recover my sons birthday and I have to recommend this shop to everyone!!! The ice cream wasn’t decorated to the company standards but the taste was excellent and after having the full experience I will be spending my money...

Went in on my wifes birthday in March and wasn't even greeted with a hello, the staff were talking to each other and didn't even acknowledge us until after a few minutes of standing there. Then my wife asks about her free icecream voucher that they emailed her. They ended up charging us for the free icecream because they gave her the wrong size... so I had to pay for that and order her another "kids" icecream which was 1 scoop for her free icecream... a whole lot cheaper to just go buy a carton of icecream from the stores nearby. They don't even make the icecream themselves it is imported in from Nashville. What a total waste. Afterwards they told an older lady she can't get a receipt because they "already clicked no in their system" and they "can't go back"... a bunch of lies because my wife has worked cashier before in a food business and you can always go back in and print a receipt especially with the "Square" brand register. Sorry but you have lost...
