Smaller version of Roy location with no lobby seating, but has drive thru window, walk up window, a what looks like will be nice sized patio area with some landscaping? Iâve been to the Roy store before and this one has the same diverse menu as that one does; great variety of espresso, no espresso drinks, hot chocolates, steamers (basically a hot chocolate, but in different flavors, pretty much any flavor you can think of). Breakfast sandwiches, burritos and pastries. Had a steak burrito that was very good and slice of lemon bread, which was moist and not too lemony. Hot Turtle Latte was awesome; like a warm Snickers in a cup. Kids tried the strawberry smoothie, which was good, and a caramel steamer which also was very good. Saw familiar faces working here that have also been in Roy and that was awesome; same fast, friendly service as there even though they seemed to be learning some new and different things. Overall, great drinks, food and service and great to have this on the way to I-15 for my...
Read moreAggressive sales tactics are annoying every time I go. The last straw was today when the barista tried to do suggestive selling before the order, on every drink, and then also at the end of the order. This is to no fault of the staff and entirely managementâs fault for training their staff to practice most aggressive upselling of any restaurant I have been to. This is not to mention that they will give you pamphlets (garbage) to you along with your credit card. To any regular, I would start refusing to accept the pamphlets to try to signal to management this is an issue.
The coffee is barely good enough to warrant my continued patronage there, especially since their only close competitor is Starbucks. If any other coffee shop with decently good coffee opened in the North Ogden area, I would stop going immediately. God forbid management has to deal with a competitor that doesnât pester their customers at every given...
Read moreFirst time trying and was sorely disappointed. Asked for a large cold brew with light cream and some rasberry flavoring. First the mix was way off, there were white chunks floating amidst the muddy brown color, I know that sometimes that can happen( I used to be a barista) and continued to mix to incorporate them or dissolve them or something.....nada, they were permanently floating, which is very odd and a bit scary(hope it wasn't old cream). The cold brew was extremeley weak and tasted of coffee flavored water. I was hoping to like this place, but no dice. I spent $8.50 on this drink and a muffin and couldn't even drink half which has never happened to me, it was that terrible. The muffins were alright but a little heavy on the salt( I bake often so I know my muffins man). Sad, but hopefully this was a fluke. Too bad the price is too steep for me to take...
