Went here to try the food, as reviews were ok, but I doubt they were really written by people who tried the food or their friends. We ordered Pulav with goat fry and gongura paneer biryani, pulav was ok, goat fry was average, it was not fresh. Gongura paneer biryani was awful, just added gongura paste to paneer and rice, gongura was raw, when we asked about it answer was we mill make sauce kind of and will add it, so that is what it is. And there was little rice on top and full of raw uncooked gongura paneer paste, if u see pics u might understand. When we were not satisfied with what they gave us, atleast they should be sorry, but no they don’t want to get the other cooked one atleast but no, u need to pay without any questions asked kind of attitude. I have been to so many restaurants in different places atleast restaurants will make sure to fix it but these guys are not here to deliver food for what we pay for. We are paying money they are not doing any free service that whatever they give we should eat even it’s not prepared properly. I’ll definitely not recommend this...

We had the worst experience with both the food and the bill (customer service). Three families went for dinner together. We asked the staff to combine the tables, and they agreed. One of our friends requested to order food separately, and they said okay and took our orders. When we received the bills, they gave us three separate bills but charged an extra 15% ($15) gratuity for a large party on just one of the bills. When I asked about the extra charge, they said it was because we were dining together. I pointed out that they had given us separate bills and food, but they responded irresponsibly. They also mentioned that for parties of 5 or more, they automatically charge a large party gratuity. I've been living in the Bay Area for almost 11 years and have never encountered this before; I've only heard of a gratuity charge for parties of 10 or more. It’s not about the $15—it's about their irresponsible customer service and the worst food experience we had. We gave them polite and honest feedback aboutthat the biryani was dry...

I recently visited Palnadu Ruchulu in Pleasanton and while I really appreciate the authentic South Indian flavors — especially the Rajahmundry Shrimp Fry and Gongura Chicken Curry — I found the pricing to be quite unreasonable for a casual dine-in/takeout experience. To give some context: I paid $95.80 for a relatively simple order that included two entrees, a naan, one paneer dish, three rice items, and four Thums Up sodas. Just the sodas alone cost $15.96, which is steep at $3.99 per bottle — more than double what you’d pay even at Indian grocery stores. Even the plain white rice was billed $6.99 each, which felt excessive given its simplicity. The food was flavorful, no doubt, but the value-for-money just wasn’t there. Bottom line: If you’re planning to dine here, be ready for surprisingly high prices.

We've been here twice now, and it’s got a great vibe with plenty of seating. The first thing you'll face is the massive menu - so many options! I'd definitely recommend trying their Palandu specials, especially the Palanadu Biryanis and Pulavs. Surprisingly, we really enjoyed the tiffins here, and the chutney was absolutely amazing - it's hands down the best chutney in the Bay Area! The chef really excels in Tiffins. We had several biryanis and pulavs, and got mixed reviews since we ordered a lot, but overall, the flavors were solid. The Hariyali Chicken Kebab was tasty, and the Karivepaku Kodi Vepudu was exceptional—definitely a must-try. Just a heads-up, anything with gongura tends to be on the spicier side. All in all, it’s a must-visit spot with flavors that outshine many other places in the Bay Area.
