I ordered the Bloody Mary of the month and the actual drink was great, but the food that came with it was absolutely horrible. The items included in the $35 price were the following; some type of breaded sausage rolls , a bratwurst, giant pretzel with cheese, a pork paddy of some type and waffle fries. The waffle fries were good, and would order them again. The pretzel was extremely dry was like eating saw dust. I had only one bite it was so bad, and the cheese that came with it had a horrible flavor and a curdled texture. The brat was small and had an odd texture and flavor. The sausage rolls were just like the brat. The pork patty thing was dry and flavorless. I even tried to get my 15yr old son to eat some of it so it wasn’t a total waste, but he literally spit out every bite he tried. I have to say that I was extremely disappointed. I did tell the waiter 2 times that the food was absolutely horrible, but he didn’t offer to have the manager come over, instead he just ignored my very blunt complaint. I could have asked to have the manager to come over myself, but I didn’t feel like creating a scene, and it wouldn’t have changed my review of my food. My son had a bacon burger and dill cheese curds and he said it was good and wanted to eat there again. I gave them 3 stars because my son enjoyed his food. However after spending $88 I will not return or recommend to anyone because of how absolutely horrible my order was.
Update: I had to update my rating from 3 to 5 star. My reconsideration has nothing to do with the food, it was the follow up costumer service that changed my mind. . The manager reached out to me and was very concerned that my experience was a negative one. He went above and beyond anything I would have expected to correct the situation. I am very pleasantly shocked by his willingness to take the time and effort to try and "fix" things. After his response, I am going to give the reasturant another try. Any company that gives this type of follow up to a costumer complaint, deserves another try. I will post my experience with the food after I give it...
Read moreWalking into the establishment you notice all the TV’s and the large bar. The place is open and very clean. We were greeted immediately and asked if we wanted a booth or high top table. I had checked out their menu and knew what I wanted to try. We started out with the crispy fried pickles with chipotle ranch. I absolutely love fried pickles and too many places are soggy. Northern Taphouse makes nice crunchy fried pickles and compliments it with the chipotle ranch. Great crunch and spice combination. We also had to try the Jumbo bacon cheddar chive tots. This is Jumbo tater tots mixed with bacon, cheddar cheese and chive, and served with our house aioli. Delicious! Large tots with some melted cheddar cheese on the inside. The aioli was a perfect match. The old man dang near ate them all. Now I wanted to try walleye tacos. This is your choice of blackened or beer battered walleye with house sriracha tartar sauce, mozzarella cheese, onion, cilantro, lime and romaine in flour tortillas. I skipped the onion (personal preference). Good flavor needed more of that sriracha tartar sauce, but I love condiments. I got them beer battered and I do want to try them blackened next time. The beer batter still had a nice crunch even on the last bite. Now my mom who is generally plain Jane when it comes to food went after the Curd, this is Provolone cheese, giant cheese curds and house burgersauce! Wow! I had to try it. So much cheese, well seasoned burger and that burgersauce is amazing! For the first time my mom didn’t use any ketchup on a burger. We got the fries as side but let’s be honest I was to full to try them, but my mom said they were delivered with a good crunch. Now let’s talk service. Fawn our server was AMAZING! Knew the menu made great suggestions. Our drinks were never empty. I even mentioned that seasoned sour cream cream would go great with the tots. She agreed and she even brought us some to try. All around perfect 5 star experience. Next time I’ll be bringing my beautiful bride to enjoy the food. Thank you Fawn for making the...
Read moreI patronize this place often and although bar service has always been lousy its never been enough to complain but today i had an issue with my order that got progressively worse as i ate and yes it was half gone, because i kinda just forced down some of it because i really didn't wanna "be that person" did everything i could to suffer through the rest. But i couldn't so i said something. Guy goes "im really sorry can i replace them for you" i go sure.... he never mentioned i would still be charged for the order i didn't like, otherwise i would have just said screw it and tried to finish my original order. Go to find out they charged me for both. Spoke to the manager he goes well you did eat most of the other one i explained why and the miscommunication on their part he goes. Well sorry ill take some of it off but not fully or i can call the cops up to you. Who threatens to call the cops over a miscommunication on THEIR END that's wild LMFAO. I have no issue with following policy but when its not stated to me beforehand and instead they just try to get the money from me instead of telling me id be charged still thats the issue. Go elsewhere to a business who won't charge you OR THREATEN TO CALL THE COPS FOR THEIR MISCOMMUNICATION AND THEIR WRONG DOINGS A simple heads up prior to replacing the order could have...
