There should be a negative review option. Tried to do business with this company during the hours posted online. The store was a drive for me, but I had already shopped my local store and was looking for something specific. When I arrived, they were closed despite being posted as opened. When I came back a different day, much earlier in the day, I asked about their hours and them being closed when their posted hours claim they are open. I was told in a rude tone they are a small business and they close whenever they want and I donât have to shop there. I assured them I would not be back. From what I could tell during the short time I was there, the mechandise was not comparable to my home store in Eden Prairie so Iâm not upset I wonât be going back but shocked at the attitude of this âownerâ.
Update: How dare you come on here and lie! You did indeed tell me youâre a small business and you can close whenever you want. Furthermore, I arrived 45 mins before closing (according to your poster hours). And this happened more than once. You were rude, flippant and told me I donât have to shop there. NOW, youâre inviting me back? No thanks, and I hope no one else patronizes this âsmall businessâ who thinks they can treat their customers rudely and expect them to come back. Iâm certain you have nothing to do with the Eden Prairie store as they are always helpful and kind. I have shopped many different Clothes Mentors, including those in other states. No one has ever been as nasty and arrogant as you have.
Btw, your 1 star reviews are growing , so it isnât just me. Other customers have complained about your store being closed during business hours. One woman even called ahead to confirm the hours and arrived at your store over an hour before âclosing timeâ. When she got there you were closed. You really need to be more considerate of your...
Read moreI have been actively going out of my way the past two days to stop at this location to shop. The first day I arrived I noticed a paper posted that they closed early, understandable as I know places can experience staffing issues. So I decided to be smart and call today to see if that would be the case a second day in a row. Whoever I spoke with on the phone confirmed they would be open till 6:00 p.m. Today I arrived right before 5:00 p.m. and to my disappointment the store was closed again. Extremely frustrating to have this experience as I even left work earlier to make it at a decent time and live on the other side of town. Figure itâd be better to change your store hours if itâs not going to be consistent.
Edit (after being wrongfully accused a liar): Since my conversation is being confused with someone elseâs, here is how the call went, verbatimâŠ
I said âI stopped by yesterday and you had closed early. I wanted to call today to see if you would be open till 6:00 p.m. todayâ âAre you selling or trying to shopâ âShopâ âYes we are openâ
Glad others can see you push business away before it can even walk through the door. By the pure unprofessionalism and lack of empathy I can now see why the location is rated at 3.6.
Edit for those who look at reviews (one year later): I continue to commute by this location daily and often think about supporting a woman-owned business by shopping for clothes here. However, despite my desire to shop at this store, I have deliberately avoided stepping foot inside. My decision is rooted in the way I was treated before I even had a chance to walk in. I was looking forward to buying nice work clothes here, but the experience I had left me with no respect for how I was treated, and I haven't returned in over a year. I hope others will read this before they waste their time because I...
Read moreI would consider this place a scam. I dropped off some clothes about a month ago, after 3pm and was told that it was too late because the person left for the day who prices items. They said we could leave the items and we would get a call the next day saying that they were processed. I signed a slip that day I dropped them off. The next day I got text saying they were processed, then I called to see how much they thought my nice clothes were with the tags on still. They said we cannot tell you over the phone. Life got busy, and about a month later, today I dropped in to get my money. They said they donated my clothes! I told them I was never informed verbally that was their policy. I asked for the manager, she said she was the manager. We asked for her manager, and she said it was her mom. I asked her for the phone number, and she proceeded to write it down and then stopped to crumple it up! I told her that is bad business practice. And she kept saying thatâs what you signed initially. I told her, you need to let people know verbally to what they are signing. It was a little receipt. Worst of the worst customer service. If teens are going to run the business, you need to train them to explain the business to customers, and hope their...
