El Herradero — Restaurant in Pocatello

I went to the one downtown yesterday. I won't be going there again. The staff just stood there and stared at me like I came in on a spaceship and had three eyes because I was single and wanted something to eat. I asked them if they were closing up for the night and the man who was working there snapped no . As I went up to pay he glared at me and for some reason did not like my shirt which just a black and white shirt with a sequin pumpkin on it. . Ethier he knows someone I know or is just very judgemental , regardless that is why I won't be back and also why you did not get a tip. I have fond memories of this restaurant and used to go there with some friends that have moved away . I asked if you were closing for the night because I could not think of any reason why you would stand and stare. If I was waiting for someone to join me I would have said so . I do not drive and alot of times it is like a little getaway to go to a restaurant and sit down and eat just to get out of the house for a bit . Is it really that uncommon for a single person to do that ? I was customer and your under the same obligation to treat me the same way you would treat a family...

A year ago I spent a lot of money on one of their best meals , it was the plate of food with sizzling meat and onions. This was the one on Jefferson. As I got up, I was not feeling good, VERY dizzy! So I sat down. I asked them if I could call a cab from their phone becos my phone went dead, and I told them the situation. They said no. A week ago I tried this one across from Brady park, and I said I am one dollar and thirty cents short, do u mind if I go across the street and get the money.The waitress lectured me on the cost of the drink. You will get the money, I even gave u a tip last time when I almost passed out at the other restaurant, but HERE is you're bad review. All's I can say is bring a charged phone people, if not, THIS will be you, walking you're dizzy ass home after you paid for a expensive meal and gave a tip. I'm taking my time on the 1.30 and getting it back to u, and by the way, I've never tasted beef like that, must be something else...

Well, serves was great up until my son didn’t receive his taco salad after we had all received our dinner and was already eating and a few was finished and when we asked the waitress who finally came to our table, where my sons taco salad was, she said we have no beef……..so all 6 of us had beef but y’all have no beef??? And On top of it, it’s not like they came to us and told us they maybe ran out of beef could they prepare something else, they was just going to ignore the fact that my son still had nothing in front of him to eat and everyone else was already done eating, and was gonna charge us for his dinner and had the audacity to act so rude toward us. And just to clear things up…my son didn’t starve we all shared our meals with him 😉 so needless to say after that experience I highly wouldn’t recommend this restaurant. There are several restaurants near by, so if your in the area I would try anyone of the other restaurants beside this one. Safe...
