Bright my son here for some bonding time. We had a great time throwing hatchets at Heber Hatchets Axe Throwing. It was a very casual, laid back atmosphere, although they definitely are concerned about safety and througholy go through the safety rules. The girl working was friendly and funny. They have a lot of different games you can play with the rules on posted on the walls and on handouts. They also allowed us to bring in our own drinks and snacks. We would've appreciated a bit more coaching, they showed us throwing techniques when we got there but we didn't benefited from some additional instruction regarding spin and what not, although we did not request this either so they might have of we would've asked. The only other suggestion I have is to put some information on parking on their website, I am not familiar with downtown Pocatello and wasn't sure where to park, I ended up getting a space down the street but wasn't sure what other options I had. Read moreHave gone there a few times and its always really fun and enjoyable. I tried to make a reservation for 12 people but i tried calling and emailing to make a reservation but got no response. So my wife went in and asked about making one but you have to pay for everyone in advance and we didnt want to do that. So the guy said that we could just walk in without a reservation and not worry about it too much since they arent too busy during the time we want to go. We show up and the guy doesn't seem very happy that we didnt have a reservation after trying to call and email ahead of time but got no response. Hopefully this situation doesnt happen the next time we try to make a...
Read moreSo fun! My sister and I went after we saw Jacob on the news and it looked fun! We wore closed toe shoes to get in. It was a little pricey but I didn't mind paying to support local business. It was 31 and some change for my sister and I for one hour. We became pros after some instruction. We learned 3 throws and played three games which took the whole hour. Didn't get tired or bored. The posters on the wall were fun and all hatchet related.... I'm a huge LOTR fan. I hope they host tournaments soon! They also accept minors. On street parking I believe. Super fun date night idea or...
