Purpose Center — Restaurant in Pocatello

First off do not let the exterior or location be a deciding factor. Yes this is a office building converted into lodging, but let me tell you they did an amazing job converting this place (feels newly renovated) and the location is minutes away from the University, VA, shopping and entertainment, nestled in cute and quick old town Pocatello.

Layout: It has one large area with the bedrooms along the exterior walls. The area has a pool table, 2 large tables to eat at and 2 sitting areas with TVs. Bonus, there is an additional kitchen area, sitting area w/ a TV, 2 bedrooms and a large bathroom separated from the main area. It was perfect setup for us. Nothing about this place is ordinary or small. Massive space. We had beds here , but 18 people in the common areas and it

Kitchen: The main kitchen is a big and open, 2-3 adults were able to maneuver around with adequate place. Kitchen appliances are modern and operate as intended. We did use it, but the 2nd Kitchen is equally impressive, equipped with all the needed utensils and appliances.

Seating Areas: Seating area #1 has enough seating to accommodate a large group, It is kind of separated from the other spaces allowing for a cozy get away; with a view of the city and the University. Seating Area #2 is nestled in the middle of the unit, next to the pool table, right in front of the rooms. This area is like a vibrant area as it is an extension of the kitchen and dinning area. Seating area #3 is secluded and on the opposite end of the unit from Seating area #1. You can make it a quick area or have your own entertainment separate from the main unit. All the furniture looked and felt new. No stains and cushions still had some fluff to them. The furniture was not cheap in any way.

Sleeping: On the left side there was 1 bedroom with a bed and 2 rooms with bunk beds; with a large restroom with shower and toilet separating the 2 bunk rooms. The right side of the unit had 3 bedrooms with a bed each and another large restroom. There is also a 3rd restroom in this area. The beds had comfortable mattresses and none of the guest complained. Surrounding area: There is Costco, Walmart, activities and grocery stores, fast food, restaurants all in about 5 to 15-minute drive. In the immediate area there are several bars and restaurants, less than 3-minute walk.

Customer Service: Now this was top tier. I had many questions leading up to the visit and the host was very responsive. I changed then number of guests we had and the dates needed a couple of times and not once did they seem bothered; actually more eager to ensure all me needs were met. When we arrived, I was using the wrong door and was so frustrated because we got snowed in in Salt Lake City the night before and the athletes were restless. I called the host, and he picked up on the second ring, ready to accommodate whatever we had to through at him. He checked in on us a couple times to ensure all was going well. We left an item behind, and they actually reached out to me and shipped it off free of charge.

The layout is simple. The space is massive. Everything feels like luxury. They did not hold back any aspect of the unit. You almost forget you are in a small old town. I was so impressed with this place and the service we will be trying to book next year for...

Our organization recently held a corporate event at the Purpose Center in Pocatello, Idaho. Craig Yadon and his crew did an incredible job from one end of our event to the other. They allowed us to come to the Center to set up the afternoon before our event, even though they hosted a separate meeting that morning.

On our arrival, the Center was clean and comfortable. The tables, including linens, were arranged to our specification. We were able to integrate our computers into their audio-visual setup so that our presentation was ready to go first thing in the morning. We were allowed to store meeting supplies in a locked storage room the night before, so we could finish setup and get started the next morning. The center was open upon our arrival at 6:30AM; we did not have to rush to get our meeting started at 8:00.

The atmosphere during the meeting was professional but intimate. There were no interruptions or extraneous noises to distract our attendees. The food was excellent. Juice, coffee, croissants, and other small treats made up a very nice continental breakfast. After the event, the leftover food was donated to a local homeless shelter.

The venue is beautiful, featuring hardwood floors, soft, neutral walls, and a high ceiling made possible by the second-floor mezzanine. The chairs were very comfortable. The early-1900s vintage of the building is evident, but the Center is also equipped with the modern amenities needed to host a world-class event. The restrooms were spotless.

The staff was kind and professional. Everyone we interacted with wanted only for us to be satisfied. They were able to accommodate our needs, sometimes on short notice. They went above and beyond to address any requests we had, like removing the festive party lights hanging from the ceiling.

Ample parking was available directly behind the building, with an ADA-compliant ramp leading to the Center.

We recently had the pleasure of hosting our son and his new wife's wedding at the Purpose Center, and we couldn't be more thrilled with our choice! From the moment we arrived, Craig and his wife went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, ensuring that everything was perfect for their special day.

The venue itself is absolutely stunning and spacious, perfectly accommodating the large guest list. The main level and mezzanine offered ample space for everyone to enjoy, and the large bathrooms made it convenient for our guests. We were particularly impressed by the beautiful windows that overlook old town Pocatello, adding a touch of charm and character to their celebration. In addition, we rented the large Airbnb above the venue which was the perfect place to relax the day of the wedding and enjoy after the reception. The Airbnb is truly spectacular and was a highlight to their experience in uniting family and friends for a truly comfortable experience.

We received countless compliments from our friends and family about the beauty of the venue and its unique charm. Every amenity we could have hoped for was fulfilled, making their wedding day seamless and memorable.
