I have been a loyal customer of Java for very long time. To the point were half of my family here and in Twin Falls think I am crazy for enjoying Java over Dutch Bros or Starbucks. Over the last few months my drinks are made incorrectly and inconsistently. I always get the same drink - a snickers with an extra espresso shot. The best part of ordering a snickers is that it comes with chocolate and caramel drizzle, like the candy. It is convenient to just order a snickers with an extra espresso shot. Rather than at other coffee shops where you need to add each thing detail by detail. In the last couple of months, my order is made with/without the extra espresso and it is a toss up if I get chocolate or caramel drizzel (sometimes it doesnāt have it at all, sometimes it is just chocolate or just Carmel). On a few awesome, rare occasions it is made correctly with both. I have almost stopped going all together. Choosing instead to save money and just make my own at home. The few times like tonight that I have been out Christmas shopping and thought let see how it goes, I have been sadly been disappointed by my drink. I decided to leave a review tonight in hopes that the owner or managers would become aware of the issue of inconsistently made drinks. To find many reviews have already brought the issue up. Which sadly might mean that my favorite coffee place may just not have the quality I came to expect from...

My husband and I frequent there often (few times a week) and anytime we have company come to town and we are out and about, we go there. Even my teenage kids go there a lot. The drinks are great, the prices arenāt too bad, and usually the service is great! My ONLY complaint is about the male barista that works there. He is never happy, opens the window and just stares at you until you say something, not even a smile from him. Today, he went to hand me my card and just said āhereā almost as if he was irritated that I didnāt notice right away that he opened the window to give back my card. This is how he is every time he is working and I go there! Itās not just an isolated incident. Every other barista Iāve encountered in the last 2 years (when we moved to Pocatello) has been SO friendly! Itās just this guy. Iām to the point that if I pull up and he is at the window, I will just drive away. I am still giving 5 stars because like I previously stated, I love Java, and donāt want to ruin their reputation cause of the one bad egg. We ordered a london fog tea and a kids peach smoothie, she proceeded to tell us they dont have kids smoothies at all, we ordered them just fine at plenty of other locations and times. We proceed to communicate to just do a 16 oz one. After waiting 10 minutes, she comes back to ask us the tea we wanted as they were out of the tea typically used on our order. By the end of it, they forget the smoothie and when prompted about it, she says we never ordered it as i said we should have paid for it. She became rude and snarky in her response. We decided to just take our daughter to mcdonalds for one instead. And in the full 20minutes we waited got luke warm watered down milk rather than a decent hot beverage. Couldnt be more dissappointed. Get rid of, and find better staff or this business is...
