McDonald's — Restaurant in Pocomoke City

i asked to speak with the manager that was at this location at 7:50pm on January 23, 2023 about why my mobile app total was different then my total they charged my card was different by almost $5.50 and proceeded to tell her that my reward/deals coupon of 20% off was not honored for whatever reason on there part and she was “snoody” towards me acting like I was at fault for using the mobile app which it wasn’t my fault whatsoever bc i redeemed my reward so since i did that I cannot use another one for 24 hours so since my order was considered “complete” since they had already charged me i was not able to “prove” i was telling the truth tho i showed the young man at the first window who just moved me to the 2nd window so he didn’t have to deal with me i guess ? But anyway the manager proceeded to give me dirty looks like i was wrong for speaking up and i made it clear i am not hurting for the money like that but i would like to be confiscated for the mess up bc i had problems here before and the white older manager handled it by giving me a free meal voucher which was awesome this manager tonight tried to just offer me a apple pie…. Something that’s what $1? When i lost $5+? So i wasn’t really satisfied with her response bc she acted like it was going to come out of her pocket but long story short she gave me a McFlurry which still didn’t add up to what i was over charged…. But she honestly needs to work on her facial expressions and the way she talks to a consistent customer who eats there 3+ times a week with most orders $28+ every time. Also she needs to learn that the customer is always right even if she doesn’t want to admit/agree. Thanks for reading and i hope some disciplinary actions will be made...

If I could give these zero points, I would.My once upon a time true love McDonald's fries was my choice that afternoon. So large fries with a small soda was $6.00. The soda was watered down, but it's fast food, so I get it. My $4.00 and some change fries were the issue. Cold, limp, undercooked, and tasting of old cooking oil. I ate two and started to worry about food poisoning. So I went in and stood in line to get my money back or whatever. The place was not that busy. But I was an obvious annoyance to the staff. When the person reached under the heat lamp to give me a replacement fry, I was done. I just told you the fries were gross, and you just ignored that and gave me #1 a smaller size #2 fries that were sitting under a heatlamp #3 You were openly annoyed by me. Got my money back, left, and will not return. This will in no way hurt this location or restaurant, but I needed to vent and advise you to check your food before...

The front staff was friendly and quick. My fries were fresh and hot! My frustration and anger lies with management. Due to pandemic , customers can't eat inside so we are forced to eat in our cars or outside and management refuses to give drink refills!! Most McDonald's have any size $1 drinks but this McDonald's still has full price drinks then refuses to give refills???? Every fast food restaurant I've visited have given free refills while eating meals outside their establishments. Very poor customer service when drinks cost company so little and would certainly extend goodwill to customers who aren't allowed to eat inside your restaurant. Seriously? You want your customers who haven't finished their meal to buy another full price drink?? For that price - I could get a sit down meal that includes refills!! Yout just lost a customer - Over a refill that would cost you...
