Hungry Howie's Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in Polk City

Other day I placed 2 orders one for me and one for my mother in law. It was for pick up but I called in and told them I needed it for delivery my car wouldn't start. The guy said cool got the info on the orders and my card number to charge the delivery fee. Lady delivered my mother inlaws pizza. We asked the driver where the second order was. She said she must not of seen it she would go get it and be back with it. It was already near closing but not yet when she left. I called back up after 20 minutes cause she stated she had some delivery she had to do before going back. The same man answered the phone. He said sorry we are closed. I said I was waiting for the driver that she said she would be back with my order. He said there was no more deliveries. I had him look me up in the system. He then goes to tell me he never changed that one to delivery it was pick up only. I said well could we come get it then he said no we threw it away because it was never picked up and they closed down. I asked why I hadn't been called when the driver got back there and there was a issue. I had him on speaker and I was a bit upset and almost in tears cause I had nothing to cook for my family and well my car just died so I couldn't go get food. The man told me he was the manager and he did have a higher up that I could call in the morning. At that point I was in tears and my husband started yelling in the back ground and the man hung up on me. It was 10:01 when I called in... needless to say after balling for a bit my daughter brought up that there was dominos. But couldn't order due to the cash not being back on the card yet. We had make shift soup... 2 cans tomato soup one corn one carrots and one green beans. Since this I refuse to order from there.

Listen Hungry Howie's in Polk City on the corner of Commonwealth and I don't even know what the wait is 557 or 5:59 or I don't know what the hell it is it's just that I know how I go there they are in the nicest people you will ever meet ever they are concerned about their community and they are practicing what they preach yeah I'm I'm telling you I've eaten there many times I have I have brought pizza home I have had what they call a submarine but it's really a calzone and they're very good it's it's not a sub but that was my disappointment it was good and huge they don't skimp on anything and they don't skimp on smiles and welcomes and that's the most important thing yeah I've been there many times I will go back they're just great people and the food is good so give it a go there's a lot of things on that menu that I have not had and I may never have some of them but I'm I am experimenting blossoming you might say Brandon well never mind but they run a tight shop a good shop and a Christian in my opinion they have heart and everybody that works there that I have met has the same heart as the people that own the place and you couldn't ask for better so just check it out that's all check it...

I’m giving this place a two almost the one, but I gave it a two I frequent or I tend to go when I have money in my pocket to fast food restaurants like working Wendy’s, lunch service and McDonald’s and Domino’s but sometimes I come to hungry howie’s because I do get hungry Finally, the honest God truth is that there was micro particles, almost molecules, size bits of meat in my so-called sub that was prepared in so to me for a very high price there was tons and tons of gooey cheese, which really is not good for me because I am lactose intolerant and the cheese just sits in my cold and then I end up getting Issues and problems and constipation so yeah, all I got was cheese lots of sausage bread and microparticle size a bit of something they referred to me. I don’t think I’ll come back here again. I just don’t know what’s happening to fast food nowadays. It’s not that difficult to make a good sandwich and give people their money‘s worth due to the bad economy. I think people are gonna get even more picky where they go where they spend their money.
