Golden Ox — Restaurant in Pomona

Been here about four different times and the last two times I’ve been so disappointed. I live four minutes away from this location and when I got home, my bun on my burger was completely soggy so it wasn’t even good. The food was somewhat flavorless which I’m not used to because it used to have so much flavor the onion rings are always delicious except for an hour before they close they give you the leftovers that’s not that good. Definitely won’t be coming back here anymore. I also asked them with the order of onion rings if a side wrench comes with it and they said yes so I ordered two extra wrenches on the side and when they gave it to me, they gave me two ranches instead of my third ranch so I had to ask them for my third ranch and the girl at the drive-through was giving me attitude And as I was sitting there waving at them trying to get their attention so I can get my other ranch, the girls staring at me through the window from afar, refusing to open the window so the gentleman came over and open the window with the girl and I told her you forgot one of my ranches and she’s like oh Like I literally just had a conversation with her at the window when she was handing me my food how many come with the order she said one so that means I ordered two she should’ve handed me three but instead she wanted to...

I have had great experiences in the past from other Golden Ox's, like the food ofcourse, free refills, and free ranch or thousand island. Don't forget about the free banana peppers and carrots. But this one was not so pleasant. I ordered a cheese burger combo with avocodo, and bacon and it was good. But when I ordered thousand island dressing I discovered it had a hair in it. The carrots has foam, too me it seemed like they were sitting in the how weather for so long. The ladies that worked there did not have their hair up, I think that's the cause of the hair in things. The reasaurant was dirty, food on the floor and more. A man that seemed like a regular customer asked for the restroom key and asked, "does the restroom have soap this time." And when I was gonna leave I asked for one more refill and noticed something floating inside my drink. Not impressive. The cashier dropped accidentily all the cups on the ground, and am pretty sure they are not gonna toss them but put them back. So I donk know about recommending people to that Golden Ox but...

It's been 25or more years since I've been to this one and I do have to say the food was just the same as back in the days ...outstanding scrumptious the zucchini was cooked perfect with the perfect crisp on them the double bacon avocado cheese burger was just as large and cooked perfect with that char broiled taste perfect seasoning by the time I finished my burger I had very little room for zucchini but I did force down like 3 or 4 spears it was a large serving and just one piece is enough to get your zucchini fix for sure I give this golden ox a four and a half star only because the prices .it's definitely worth every penny and the inflation is responsible for that .
