Mariscos Isla Del Pacifico — Restaurant in Pomona

I didn't get a chance to try the food as we were denied service. The internet says they close at 8 pm on a Saturday. We got there at 7:05 pm, a whole 55 minutes before closing. I wanted to order to go, it wasn't to dine in. Last minute craving for the husband. We are from Moreno Valley and happened to be in the are and looking for a marisco place and we came across this restaurant. When we got there their was a couple who clearly had just gotten there because the waitress was berly taking their order, she had her little note pad. Not knowing how they worked considering the pandemic and the clients sitting outside I told the waitress that I was here to order to go. She replied by saying they were closed. I question why if the websites says they close at 8. She said yes that's true except today. Well what ever, clearly the clients aren't important for them and were not interested in potentially gaining another...

From the reviews, I'd expect some quality however it wasn't the case. Speedy service and waitress was amazing however the 7Mares was not impressive at all. Canned clams, gross imitation crab (was very rubbery) and 2 shrimp in the entire bowl. Well they did add the small canned shrimp. The fish was okay. Soup had very little taste

Shrimp cevhiche tostada was decent. However the quality control on the shrimp wasn't there. Many shells and veins left. But it was good.

Shrimp and octopus cocktail had zero flavor. I mean the broth cocktails come in is everything and this just wasn't it.

Fried whole fish was very very over cooked, fine... but no seasoning. Honestly the bottled beer and soda was the best part of our lunch here. I'll try it again just to see if possibly it was a canned food night, but not...

First if all they didn't bring us a menu at all and we waited for some time and when we finally got the server we still got no menu! So I just ordered Pozole and my daughter ordered menudo they didn't bring enough limes for both orders yet I was charged 1.99 extra for limes my granddaughter ordered chilaquiles yet they tasted nasty and when I was eating my Pozole there was a hair in my food. The service sucked hair in my food and it wasn't worth the price for anything the michelada was nasty too! I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS...
