Raspado Xpress — Restaurant in Pomona

I went to this place on 1/12/19 I ask for a shake and fruit cocktails name bionico a guy approach me and took my order to what I ask him that in my bionico I didn't want any papaya or melon that I want it to get mango in stead he said ok. Got my order and all and to my surprise this bionico was not the best, the plate was bigger that the actual fruit portion in it and to my surprise he didn't even put mango as I request it for the 5.95 that I paid this item was not what I expected and beside he didn't even gave me what I want it in it. I will highly recommend another place in reservoir and Philadelphia ave by the Tom's burgers for those of u that familiar with the area this place will give u more for ur money not like thos so call...

Experience was disappointing. A staff member questioned why my mom was speaking English instead of Spanish, seemingly based on her appearance.

Mom: Can I have a vanilla raspando? Staff member: Do you speak Spanish? Mom: Yes Staff Member: You look Mexican, so I thought you would speak Spanish”

This kind of comment reflects a deeper issue of Latino-to-Latino prejudice—where assumptions are made about someone’s identity, language, or authenticity based on how they look or speak.

Nobody should be made to feel like they have to “prove” their heritage.

This is an opportunity to train staff on being respectful and inclusive—not just to customers from other cultures, but within the Latino...

This place has the best raspados and everything that they make...I have gone to other places where they have raspados but no comparison....the flavor here is the BEST!!! However I do have a suggestion. You should have a designated person at the register taking the orders and of course helping when the line ends. I saw some people leave because no one was there to assist them.. Because the person taking the order went to fill the order and the other person was also filling the order...like I said it's only a suggestion...you are...
