Yume House Pho — Restaurant in Pomona

Sat outside this place to enjoy a nice bowl of pho and some spring rolls. Had the filet mignon pho and the house beef special. The broth from the filet mignon was super savory and between the beef from both phos you can definitely notice the difference in quality and taste. I wish the filet mignon had different types of meat tho as the beef special had meatballs as well.

I wish they had more of a chilli variety as they only had sriracha and hoisin sauce. The peanut sauce that came with the spring rolls was excellent and the spring rolls were almost perfect. I found the wrapper to be a little chewier than most. But still had to get a second order

I decided to venture out of my comfort zone (pho ha) Yume house here I come!!!! I ordered the house beef noodle regular and a milk tea with boba. All good. Yummy!!! They price are very reasonable. My bowl of pho only $6.25. And since I was there between 2-4pm happy hour. I brought a drink and got one free. 😬😬 that why I had two drinks in the picture. FYI. Parking is free for the first 2hrs. The elderly Vietnamese couple who owns the restaurant are very sweet and friendly. The store itself is pretty humble, though the outdoor seating is pleasant. I actually enjoyed the spring rolls more than my pho, but the noodles and jalapeños were really nice! The pho is a bit middle-of-the-road, at least to an American palette. I’ve been to Vietnam three times, and the broth is very authentic, but not what a lot of people are used to...
