The waiter made 2 fatal mistakes when I ordered my food in here. I ordered Curry Chicken Plates to eat there & ordered Jerk Chicken Plates, Brown Stew Chicken Plates, Crispy Jerk Wings & Baked Jerk Wings for to-go. When about time to get a receipt, they put Curry Goat Plates instead of Curry Chicken Plates on it, which of course made the price increase & I bought a lot of food also from them. They should care more & paid attention more to my orders. I protested about this to the waiter & he just calmly said that it doesn't matter cause both of the menus have same price, so he doesn't need to fix it. I don't really believe when he said that, so I checked right away on their menu & turned out he lied, they both different prices, the waiter lied to me, for real?? U lied to customer 🤦🏻‍♀️😠 He became silent & asked to went back to the kitchen for awhile & later came back with the woman manager I believe who corrected the right receipt for me. And it also took them very long time to get all the others ready for me, my ride has already waiting for quite long, so when they finished I just bring all my food home right away. And by the time I arrived home, I checked that they gave me 2 Jerk Chicken Plates instead of 1 Jerk Chicken Plate & 1 Brown Stew Chicken Plate that I actually ordered! Omg, what a horrible services, beware guys if u wanna eat there or buy food from there, cause it's clearly they don't really care what u ordered & ur satisfaction moreover, they careless enough to make all those fatal & stupid mistakes that would make customers regret & don't wanna comeback to their...

A charming restaurant located in Pomona.

We arrived a little late, about 20 minutes before closing on a Monday night. We were the only patrons in the restaurant, but the staff was kind and kept the kitchen open for us (we called ahead to make sure thst it would be okay).

The restaurant also has a small little market where they sell a number of items from Jamaica. Here's a breakdown of what we ate.

Wings - We ordered both the crispy and the jerk wings. The crispy wings were well fried and very crispy and tender. The jerk wings were next level though. They are marinated in the jerk seasoning and then baked. They were fall off the bone tender and just the right amount of spice.

Oxtail Combo with rice and cabbage - Delicious and Tender oxtail. Not the best oxtail I've had, but definitely up there.

Goat curry with rice and cabbage - a distinct curry flavor. It had a hint of sweetness and the Goat is also quite tender. Definitely a lot of bones to sort through. Not a typical curry. I recommend trying.

Mango pineapple ginger juice - a very nice blend of sweetness and spice. You get the sweetness on the front end with the mango and pineapple blast with a kick of ginger in the back of the throat when you swallow. Perfectly balanced in my opinion.

Overall I would recommend visiting. There are a few other dished I'd like to try next time like the pineapple wings and the jerk salmon. It's not very budget friendly, so be prepared to spend...

Ok I was a little excited to eat here because there were no Jamaican restaurants in the area me and my family were at(Anaheim). This place was showing the closest(39 min away) We wanted to order 2 oxtails but they only had enough for 1 plate ($35 a plate 🤦🏾‍♀️). So we order only 1 with jerk chicken 3 beef patties and 3 sodas. So while waiting I go over to get some plantain chips and tried to pay for them. The female at the front kept telling me that something was down and I could pay when we pay for everything else. I’m like we already paid and kept saying we can take a seat. Ok after so long I just put the chips back because things seem to be taking forever. We came to order takeout. They said the food was already cooked that’s why we didn’t order anything that would take forever. Well it still took forever it took about 25 min for them to bring the food out. Finally the call is up to the counter to tell us they only have 2 beef patties. I literally saw them give the patty to someone who came in after us. Also while waiting a female came in and said she placed an order and the lady at the front said she lost her slip so she needed her order again. They seem to be all over the place and unprofessional.
