Outback Steakhouse — Restaurant in Pompano Beach

Awful awful and more awful don't go. Steak came out raw. i mean, RAW, I asked for medium rare filet mignon. Sent it back (scared don't want spit) came back out EXACTLY the way it went in RAW. The asparagus was a tiny amount and looked awful. Sent it back. My friend ordered a steak with potato and asparagus (his steak was done medium he wanted well done but ate it) the thing is the waitress asked if he wanted onion and mushrooms and he said "yes" she did NOT say that each one would cost me $3+ more. So, on the bill, I was charged $7+ for a little bowl of onions and mushrooms. The waitress said, "The cook was the only one they're and tired." she said to order an alcoholic drink to the people I took there who are im recovery btw no one asked about drinks. We asked for water (it was 2 pm Sunday), and she never filled our water up when the glass was empty. She spoke about how she was going to take 4 of the special alcohol drinks home when her shift ended. They only had 5 tables, and the waitresses didn't check on us or give us more water. She said "it effects her tip when they mess up the steak." i didn't eat. I would not spend $32 on a gross steak. Also, I asked that the potatoes be wrapped up and only the steak and asparagus come out. We'll she brought it all into a to go bag then I waited for the steak not knowing all was in the bad. Then, I waited 5 min for her to plate it, and then it was raw 2xs. Don't waste your money it's horrible all of it! This Outback is the worst one I have ever been to. Go to the one in Deerfield instead. They are much better from start to finish the quality of the food, and the servers and the instructions about how to cook the steak were followed at the Deerfield location. SKIP THIS OUTBACK IN POMPANO! GO TO DEERFIELD IF YOU GO TO OUTBACK. THIS ONE WAS A COMPLETE FAIL FROM START TO END. DON'T GO TOTALLY GROSS SMELLING AND AWFUL FOOD AND SERVICE. It takes a lot to get me to say DO NOT GO to a place. Yet I'm saying it, so I just saying it's got to be really, really bad if I said don't go and I'm saying don't go!...

Went to Outback Pompano on US1 again tonight and the food was again excellent. The service, the food and the quality of the food has always been consistent throughout the times that I've been there. I live in Lantana Florida and when I want a good steak I go to Outback Pompano. That's the only place that give you real steak that tastes great. Because the steaks there are so great. I took family members to one of the Outbacks closest to my home and was very disappointed in what I received. My family member did not who ordered the same thing that I ordered got something that was quite different and he did not want to send it back to the kitchen and some of you can probably figure out why. Although I don't think they would do anything to it. However, I tried it again not too long ago and the steak that I got was something that appeared to have come from an assembly line like an assembly line cut. I don't know what the hell it was. Tonight while dining at Outback Pompano, I just had to talk to the manager and tell him how great the food was there and how we drive all the way from Lantana to Pompano just to eat the steaks and we bring our family and friends with us as well. The manager at Outback Pompano, Richard was very gracious and was very pleased to hear that we would travel from Lantana to Pompano just to eat the steaks at his restaurant and the and the waiter that waited on us Alex was awesome. He was right on the money all the time. Johnny on the spot. He did an excellent job. Once again, if you want a good steak, a really good steak that's well seasoned that tastes good try Outback Pompano. I came in at 8:20pm March 28th, 2018 Ordered a primerib (medium-rare) when my food arrived, my medrare was medium looking medwell, the waiter offered to change it so I agreed. Then brought the same plate with the excuse that is was too late for a med-rare and if I wanted a med-rare I should have come in earlier. The chef also came out and offered a ribeye. I agreed, and it was cooked the right way. Meanwhile my boyfriend is almost done with his food, we had already drank more than half the bottle of wine we ordered. When the check comes they comp the primerib $19.79 and charged me for the ribeye $20.50 (i believe) is not even $1. Difference, but is not the price that matters, it the lack of customer service and the time I wasted. While my boyfriend was eating I was looking at his food HUNGRY because my waiter didn’t even bother to check if they had prime rib med-rare left and then had the nerve to tell me to come in early if I wanted med-rare. Are you kidding me???? This was a horrible experience and you are going to charge me full price for en even expensive meal than the one I ordered when it was your fault for not checking what I wanted was available.
