Well, well well where do I Start with telling my horrible experience at raising Cane’s Pompano. This was my first time trying, raising Cane’s food. I’m a restaurant manager for a major food chain and was gifted Several gift cards from another manager in the area. I was extremely excited to try the chicken tenders I’ve been seeing for years however, when I walked in this establishment, my mind quickly changed. There wasn’t as far as where the line was, which I could take from the moment that my order was taken, and they realized I had gift cards. The service shifted. The cashier didn’t know how to input the gift card, which is fine that I understood when I was done with the gift card, she returned it to me, and I simply asked, do I get to use this again and I believe her name was Destiny came back towards the register and said oh no you can only use it once and explain to me as I was slow that I’m only allowed to use gift card once when I already knew this, it was her actual employee that made the mistake in giving me the gift card again, I was just trying to be an honest customer being that that I’m a restaurant manager myself and return the gift card to its rightful owner, which was the restaurant that my boyfriend to which I gave a gift card to because I was gifted several was about to order and it was an issue from the moment he started. They started to treat him very rudely once they realize he had a gift card they told him you can’t use the same gift card, which was the gift card that I had in which I already told him to dispose of and he had that gift card, which was his own in his hand Already rolled her eyes at me and him which turned me off of the food completely. She was rude. She charged him on an item that she was not supposed to the website and made him feel extremely uncomfortable following that we drove all the way from Wynwood Miami, Florida to come to this establishment and I cannot believe we wasted our time and our money because we bought items outside of what was offered on the gift card to be Given such horrible customer service the chicken tenders were the service as far as us getting our food fast but I will never return to this establishment again I have four alternate gift cards and they’re going to be shredded management should not roll their eyes or act inconvenienced to customers that are spending their hard earned money. I am a restaurant manager myself, and I know exactly how to act accordingly with guest you treat others the way you wanna be treated . The only reason I’m giving the establishment two stars is because the food was...
Read moreDon't get me wrong, the chicken Tenders were alright, but basic, and the sauce was not that good, compared to what people online had said, including people dunking their hands in a large cup full of canes sauce, this place was really mid. The Tenders were juicing, but plain, and the sauce is way overhyped. Not only that, but the raising canes company used Matthew Tkachuk from the Florida Panthers (the NHL team who just won the stanley cup this year for the first time in their 30 year history) to do a "meet and greet" when in reality, it was only the first 15 people that showed up, which were people who showed up at 6 am when the event started at 10 am. This location decided it would be best to make dedicated fans wait in the florida heat (90 degrees on this day) in their jerseys, and only provide water and shade to those who made it to ⁶the front of the line While I myself was waiting in line, i saw 5 different people get stretchered away in an ambulance because of heatstroke, and saw multiple kids crying because of the heat. If this sounds bad, wait until what is next. After almost getting to the front of the line, security tells us that he is just walking out of the front door, and going to the stage, so people crowd around the front door to see him, and maybe get stuff signed. A security gaurd stood in front of us and blocked our view, which people all around me started yelling at him about, but he wouldn't budge. When Tkachuk was walking out, security was pushing people away, even though Tkachuk tried to high five people, and grab stuff to sign it. Even when Tkachuk got on the stage, canes only allowed him to say a few words to thank people for letting him play in south Florida, then made him stand through the sunroof of a truck, and hold up the number 1 with his finger. As he was riding, he tried to grab Stanley cups that fans bought and made, but security wasn't letting him. Tkachuk waived security off. I talked to fans who drove upwards of 4 hours to come meet their favorite player, but were majorly disappointed with their experience. Canes is a horrible corporation with mid food, and wrongfully played with the hearts and minds of loving and loyal fans for free publicity and marketing. I will never be coming back to this place, and...
Read moreMy daughter has been bugging me to go here. Never been. She was excited. Drove twenty minutes to this location as it is the closest to us, twice. Once yesterday on Christmas Day because Google didn’t have their holiday hours and again tonight at about 8pm, 12/26/23). There were two long lines and one girl taking orders at one line. I drove up to order at the box but no one said anything. Wasn’t sure what the process was (since there was a girl taking orders in the other line). No greeting. No “one moment, please”. Nothing. I waited a bit. I said “hello” at the box and nothing. Okay? Maybe I order at the window? The girl in the next line walks over and asks me if I ordered and I said no, that no one said anything. She ignored that or didn’t hear me and says there is a wait on chicken since it’s still cooking or something. I said, “ok that’s fine” and pull up. I wait about another ten minutes in the long line. Im now about two cars behind the window and another girl walks over to me with two drinks and I tell her that I hadn’t ordered yet. And tell her no one was at the box. She looks confused and walks back to the window and then comes back and says they are out of flour and the restaurant is now closed. And says she doesn’t know how I’m getting out of there as there are two cars in front of me waiting on their order. She walks away to deliver the drinks to another car behind me. Talk about frustrating. How do you run out of flour before 9pm. Why didn’t the first girl tell me this? Why isn’t there a better way to get out of line instead of being hostage until the cars...
