Greek Island restaurant — Restaurant in Ponca City

We ordered two adult size plates for $9.99 each... One kid meal plate (not listed on the menu) and three drinks and it came out to $54... They charge us for a fourth meal that we did not order... With extras for that fourth meal that we did not order... And brought it to our table separately after we had all the other food... And had already paid... Then refuse to give us the money back even though we tried to give them the food back because we didn't order it...

They cooked all the vegetables on my son's kids meal... We ordered it vegetables raw... So the only thing he got to eat off his meal was the chicken and the french fries The bread and the vegetables he wouldn't touch because of it being soaked with the flavor of the cooked vegetables. There was only like 2-3 oz of chicken So he didn't have a lot to eat. My daughter pre-tasted her sauce while ordering to see if she liked it She told him she did not like it and not to put it on there and they put it on...

I was up in Ponca City for some family business and stopped in Greek Island restaurant, a nice, classy, clean little Greek restaurant on Grand Ave., downtown, for a late lunch. I had the Gyro plate. Wow. Spectacular. The meat was super fresh and nicely seasoned. Excellent gyro sauce as well as another Greek sauce that came with it that I hadn't had before that was very good. I also got some fries (I'm a big eater) but didn't need them. But they were real good, had an excellent seasoning on them. The gyro plate was plenty. Lots of vegetables. So, I got my wife some tubule to take home (score some points!) and the owner gave me a piece of Baclava! Which I shared with my wife for even more good boy points! And it was excellente'! The best restaurant in Ponca City. Being a small town, the offerings are fairly bleek, a place where fast food and chains reign supreme. My colleagues and I were in town for a month and found ourselves time and time again returning. The portions are great, the flavours are terrific, the prices affordable and you leave feeling full and ready to tackle the rest of our day. Having a place who serves healthy, real food that tastes as great as it looks was a very pleasant surprise. We were shocked at how this restaurant was not more full come lunchtime and encourage everyone in the area to support this local business.
