Will definitely never visit this location again. The waiter was great. However, the experience overall was horrendous. We were seated, and it took someone about 30 minutes to come to our table. There was a total of 8 in our party. We ordered a sampler, which was absolutely terrible. All of the chicken tenders and boneless wings were WAY overcooked. I advised the shift manager, and he said he would remove it from our check. Once the food started to arrive, about 30 minutes after ordering, we were literally brought one dish at a time, with about 3-5 minutes between each dish. We were missing 2 plates at this point. The waiter advised us that it would be about 15 more minutes as they had just begun cooking the sirloin steaks. I spoke with the shift manager, and he advised that he would personally work on the last 2 dishes. So we waited for the other 2 to arrive, to start eating, even though everyone was starving as the sampler that was brought out was not edible. Once we started to eat, everything was cold at this point, and to top it all off, the 2 bourbon chicken dishes we ordered were bland and rubbery. The 2 steak dishes were ok, but you could certainly tell the steaks were frozen solid before being cooked. The double cheeseburger, bacon burger, and 2 kids breakfasts were the only items that were worth paying money for, as my grandmother, husband, and the kids did enjoy their meals. The beverages were also good, and the waiter made sure to keep us topped off at all times, which was certainly appreciated! When we went to check out, the sampler was still on the check, but the shift manager advised the cashier to take 10% off of the check instead, which was a total of about $17 (I believe that is what the sampler costs) We paid and left, never to return again! I will certainly be calling corporate as well, as they really need to get it together. As a restaurant GM myself, I was embarrassed for them. I'm vegetarian but I usuallu have no issues adjusting my plate to fit my lifestyle and the waitors always do great. However, since covid they have continuesly gotten my order wrong or it has been extremely underwhelming. On one occasion the food had to be returned to the restaurant to get fixed (It was picked up by a family member). I returned with it and they comfirmed they fixed it for me. I get back home to find that they had served me chicken and bacon in my plate even though I asked it to be free of meat. Today i ordered the same plate with a family member and it is severely lacking. I ordered a chicken loaded potato skillet, with no chicken or bacon, which i asked they replaced with more broccoli. I recieved less brocoli than my family member who asked for the plate as comes and it had no pepper jack cheese. But the group wanted Dennys so we ended up here.
The experience here was the complete opposite of the last one. Service was awesome. The server promptly attended everyone in our group of 8. I even got refills on my drink several times and very quickly. The server handed like 5 separate checks like a pro. The food was served quickly. The temp and taste of the food was exactly as it should be. My wife and I both lived our dishes. I'm still shocked when it's $50 for just me an my wife (but that's inflation, Not Dennys fault).
