Jalapeño's cantina & tacos — Restaurant in Ponce

Vacationing in PR, where I grew up and went to visit this restaurant. At first it seemed ok but it quickly came apart at the seams. The drink order took forever, ( 7 people ), then we ordered our food. The appetizer got to the table in an acceptable time. My daughter got her entree 27 minutes before the rest of the table… How the heck that happens? The food is average, drinks were expensive and not flavorful. You’re better off going to la Guancha. The food is cheaper and better. I do not recommend this place. Not unless they make...

Food was terrible and the service could have been better if she would have let us know they had no avocados the shrimp were like pure salt and if you don’t have avocados how do you have guacamole so it seems it’s prepackaged from a store and the server must have had a bad day because she was acting miserable and this is my tip get out the customer...

Great service and atmosphere. If you just want to have a cold beer, watch sports and grab a quick bite, this is the place. I fully recommend the Queso Fundido with pico de gallo, best one I had so far. Prices are reasonable and there is plenty of parking spaces. I will be returning to...
