Stopped off here on our way home from a day trip to Joliet and had a good meal for a pretty good price. They serve breakfast all day and even though it was late afternoon two of us ordered the Meat Lovers Skillet. It was very good and had everything in it! Bacon, sausage, ham, onions, green peppers, mushrooms with 2 eggs on top all over hashbrowns. A huge portion that, even though I was tummy growling hungry, couldn't finish. Took home the rest and ate it later, heated up fairly well too. Also had my weakness food of French Onion Soup. I know odd combo, but it tasted delicious. The cheese on top was a little to thick so when I tried to break through it some of the soup overran the side of the cup, and since I didn't want to lose anymore soup, I just pealed it back and ate away at was under because I just couldn't 'cut the cheese' in an easy manner. My brother had a burger, ate the whole thing and said it was very good! My nephew had a Rueben, had them hold the sauerkraut (don't blame him there ugh). They were accommodating to our requests for additions and subtractions from the food and that was a very pleasant experience. The server was nice, but after a bit just focused on the being pleasant to others and kind of stand offish to me when ever she came by the table. Not rude enough to warrant never going back, but would likely not want to sit in her section again. So, the food was great, the service not so much, but not a deterrent for a return trip if I happen to be in...

We went in to have the buffet, saw that no one was eating so we checked out the food. Fried chicken looked good, raised the lid on the fish and it had been sitting there so long the batter had all fallen off. The corn sat so long that everything on top was shriveled and dry. Decided against the buffet and went to the restaurant. The waitress took our drink order and left. About 20 min later she came back and asked us again what we wanted to drink, we should have left then.Us and all of the tables around us started chatting. No one could believe the fiasco we were all witnessing. Only one waitress with 1 week experience on the floor, another girl just standing around like she didn't know her job, no hostess so the only waitress had to seat ppl and ring them up to pay, the cooks were making things out of order, it took one table 4 trips by the waitress to get their food and that took 20 minutes. They were taking food to the wrong tables, after an hr and 10 minutes, we finally got our food and my omelet was gray!!!! The saddest thing is there was NO MANAGER IN THE BUILDING!!!!! What restaurant does that?!?!?! While we were the 2 tables walked out, ppl waited over an hr for their food (we all felt bad for the waitress) no management stepped up let alone in the building to call ppl in to help. We only got our drinks taken off for our wait but we tipped the waitress $5 so we still paid full price for the worst experience EVER!!!! Will never...

Saturday afternoon is a busy time for any family restaurant. While there wasn't a full house, Baby Bulls was bustling. The service was a little lax; the waitress dashed and stopped, dashed and stopped at our table 4 or 5 times during our meal. We learned to talk fast and make all of our requests quickly when she was near. I did have to request my beverage twice; the 3rd time she stopped w/o it, she reminded herself while refilling a tablemate's coffee and returned with it quickly. Our sandwiches were hit and miss. The hamburger was great, big and juicie with everything on the side as ordered. The club BLT sandwich itself was good, although the order was slightly wrong my neice didn't want to send it back because she didn't like to complain. The Gyro plate was not up to par. While the sandwich was generous the meat was a little old, dark and tasteless like it was sitting per-cut for awhile. The coleslaw was a small serving and over sweet. We ordered 2 desserts to share, with the lemon meringue being a pleasant surprise but the cheesecake a disappointment. Admittedly the menu did describe it as light and fluffy with a choice of fruit topping. This is exactly what we received. Standard cheesecake for a standard restaurant. I should give up the quest for a good, solid New York at a local restaurant. The prices were average. The family member whom had recommended Baby Bulls suggested it knowing it was in the area and they offered a...

I was really hoping this would be a good place, but I was wrong. Traveling in a semi, you're limited on where you can park. The main reason we went. Should have left right after we opened the door and was hit with the "musty" smell. But we went in. Waitress was very nice and was the only good thing besides it having good decor. Sweet Tea tasted like it was made with sweetener, asked, and was told that's how they get it, and you're restricted to 1 refill! my turkey sandwich was advertised as having mayo, but it was salad dressing, and it was dry, but the garlicbread it was served on was good. To some, mayo/salad dressing might not matter, but to me, there is a BIG difference in taste. I try to support the mom & pop places and hope they can pull thru this Era of uncertainty. I'd suggest downsizing the menu and focusing on a few signature items that actually have "baby bull" ingredients or change your logo name. I'd like to see, baby bulls chili!

I try to find locally owned non chain restaurants and spend my money locally and this was a good find. The food was made to order and quick. The service was impeccable they came back and check on me several times to make sure I was enjoying my experience. There are several specials also there are specials for days of the week. I did enjoy the meatloaf and hash browns and the cabbage soup for lunch. I also did notice they had everything from Italian food and catfish weather baked or fried. I would return here and recommend it it was family friendly and plenty of parking with a menu whether it be breakfast lunch or dinner should have something to attract everybody this is my opinion and it is worth as much as you paid for it thank you very much I hope you can enjoy this as it is my honest opinion

This place is a hit or miss. Good food if it’s made right. The soup is delicious. Just a small town local restaurant. Some food recommendations are: Liver & Onion with mashed potatoes & gravy, Chef Salad, French dips (Italian beef), any Wraps, Panini’s or Burgers make sure to upgrade to a deluxe for fries with soup or salad! Their skillets both farmed and meat lovers are good!! I love their gravy!! Tried their gyro plate the other day and it was delicious!!! I personally wish there were more of the pita bread. The dinner comes with a choice of potato and soup/salad. Tried the cubed steak breakfast and it was pretty good.
