I usually DO NOT rate or post anything on a site if I have a bad experience. I like to post great things, food and customer service. I would prefer to contact corporate, owner, RM or DM etc....That's when it's a serious issue and I would like to have the issue rectified immediately. I've decided to post today because the manager I spoke with could not or DID NOT rectify the problem. I am a regular customer at Perry St. Grille. I have never spent anything less than $35 a visit. I always call my order in ahead of time. I have not had any complaints prior to this one. I ordered my usual, and arrived at the restaurant and decided to sit in my car for a few more minutes because I arrived early. I noticed the sign on the window for the Friday's special,(Bacon cheeseburger combo for $7.49) When I placed my order over the phone and picked the food I wanted, the price on the website was Friday's special Bacon cheeseburger combo $6.99. I went inside and told the waitress about the $1.00 difference, she couldn't help me, then asked if I wanted to speak to a manager. The manager came out and said it was an Google issue and the price have been changed and it's not his fault. After bickering back and forth, I reminded him that I was a regular customer and I work hard for my money. I ordered this combo on the pretense that I was paying what the website price was for. He did not refund my dollar. Not even a discount on the next order, nothing. I told him I will never do business here again. And he walked off, and went back to the kitchen. Any businessman/woman that does not care about a regular customer not coming back, is a business that will probably fail and close soon. And yes, that one dollar is a big deal to me. 50 cents is a big deal to me. I ordered two of those combos and expected some compensation for being overcharged. I will not EVER buy food there again! If they had a Grand Re-Opening and was giving away free food, I will NOT ever go there...
Read moreI stopped in here with my two year old who loves food especially breakfast food. If you are coming here for breakfast food my recommendation would be don’t. The eggs were terribly over cooked and the bacon rubbery, the hash browns were undercooked so I sent them back and they just threw them on the grill again (yes after we ate a bite of them and left our germs on them). They came back tasting burnt and gross. The toast was overdone and crunchy. I have never been to a diner that all of the components were subpar.
I waited at the counter for several minutes when I had an issue with the two people working and both in the back not even realizing I was there.
I can’t recall a diner where we left this much food unfinished.
The person at the counter is rebuking the chef loud enough for us to hear to watch the counter and look up every few seconds to see people waiting on service.
Even with better service we would never return. The unsanitary option of not just getting us new hash browns alone is enough to have me tell you not to try this place.
Trash can also appears to be full or not aligned with food spilling out of container
I would steer clear...
Read moreTheir food is the best quality in the area hands down! It's very good and full of flavor! All the food is priced fairly and they don't skimp on the portion sizes! I'm never disappointed from here. However sometime the staff is not the best or most friendly depending on who's working it seems like they go through a lot of employees. Also my husband tried buying a homeless man breakfast because he was short a few cents and the cook would not let him because he said the homeless man was not allowed to hang around there, my husband got him breakfast anyway despite the ordeal. After we angered the cook he then proceeded to block our numbers so we could no longer order from them when we had been ordering from them every day for a month straight because we had just moved into the area. After that I then spoke with a different gentleman and explained to him what happened and he then unblocked our numbers. All in all the food is worth the hassle I guess but professionalism could be stepped up a notch...
