Every time I have picked up an order for my family - minimum seven visits- our pizzas have always been perfect. If they tell me that it’s going to be ready in 15-20 minutes -I can think of only one or two visits when I showed up and I had to wait an additional five minutes for my order- which for me –wasn’t a big deal.
Some of the negative reviews posted on here are from several years ago, and speaking for myself, I can’t remember any details- but - (several years ago) – after that initial visit- bad experience- I never went back again, not until they moved into their new location, and even then I was hesitant to give them another chance.
For those folks who have problems- complaints with the (new location) Pizza Hut's delivery service - well - it's not for me to say- because the only company I use – I trust to be on time with delivering anything to my house is Amazon.
Maybe it’s because I'm getting old(er) – I can’t tolerate excuses, and I don’t have any patience – especially when it comes to having pizza delivered to my home.
For me it’s much easier to place the order in person, and then wait fifteen to twenty minutes in my car- listening to the news and talk radio. I don’t do social media or social anything.
I’m not referring to this Pizza Hut, but the reason why I don’t place my order by phone is because I hate being stuck on hold – and I really hate it when I get disconnected and I have to call them back and be placed on hold again, and while I'm on hold I'm listening to their “on hold” music –which varies from Barry Manilow to Dolly Parton – the Carpenters, or Peter Paul and Mary – or my personal favorites- Patsy Cline and Hank Williams (Sr).
The second reason for not having food (pizza) delivered to my home is the waiting. With the waiting comes the questions (from my family)- “how much longer” – “what time did you call them?”, and my least favorite question “would you call and find out how much longer it’s going to be?” The last thing that I hate about having anything delivered to my home is what comes at the end.
After what seems like forever- the person shows up at my house, and provided that the order is correct and hot (enough) – I hate what comes next- the delivery person- who is now looking at me like a porkchop – waiting on their tip.
This took forever to write- long story coming to an abrupt end –with regards to this Pizza Hut- it’s all good...
Read moreI placed a order and the total came out to be $20.81. When the driver got to my home he was really nice and polite, but come to find out later that day I was charged $30.81 which was a $10 overcharge. When I went up to the Pizza Hut the manager pulled the receipt and the driver wrote over what I put on the receipt and had given himself a $10.00 tip. The manager Amanda was very impolite and inconsiderate of what had occurred and was not showing any concern that the driver stole money from me or that someone like that is working there representing the company. When signing the receipt that the store keeps to keep track of refunds the manager wrote down $10 overcharge when in reality the driver stole money. When I brought this situation to the manager’s attention she was very rude and told me I gave the driver a tip when you could see someone had written over what was originally there. If you do decide to order food from this Pizza Hut location I advise you to please check your credit card balance before and after your purchase. I would hate for this to happen to someone else. Weather it is $10 or $5 nobody should be taken advantage of like...
Read moreAnnoyed. For what has to be the 3rd or 4th time my order delivery was incomplete (missing drinks) and I can NEVER get anyone on the phone to address the issue. Most times the drivers feel bad for the mishap (they contract DoorDasher) and will go get the drinks and bring them back - they really don't have to considering it wasn't THEIR fault and I appreciate those drivers for that.
Today, my driver was not initially willing to go get the drinks, however she ended up back out that way and took it upon herself to text me and find out if Pizza Hut had resolved the issue - when I told her I called 8 times with no answer she offered to snag them for me and bring them back to me. Bless her. She gets to the store and finds out they were out of what I ordered let me know what they had instead and brought me my drinks. A simple call on their end could have resolved this long before my order was ever picked up. Thankful for this driver going the extra mile in customer service cause Pizza Hut really...
