Update. In reply to owners remarks with all due respect, she rounded up to the next dollar and like I stated in my original review, I asked her if she rounded up. SHE GAVE NO EXPLANATION she only said yes. Period. If she had given the explanation you mention I would have no problem. AND btw I used a DEBIT CARD NOT A CREDIT CARD. Do you pay the same surcharge/fee for DEBIT CARD use?

4 May ‘25 5ish. Phoned in carry out order like I do 2-3 times a month. Young girl who answered phone and took my order was friendly and polite. When I got there, an unfriendly older heavy set woman with the personality of a dipstick and dark red lipstick (who has worked there for years) took my debit card for payment. I noticed that she rounded up my total so I asked her if she rounded up. She simply said yes. No explanation. Fairly certain that’s illegal unless posted or they tell you in advance. Never happened to me before. I don’t appreciate being ripped off. So I didn’t push it and I left a tip hoping the nice young girl would get it. Also, little does big woman know but I speak Spanish fluently so her talking to the young girl in Spanish the whole time I was standing there was to no avail. Worst experience I’ve ever had. I come here often and usually have a good experience the food isn’t always the best but the customer service is usually good until today our waitress never came back to the table even after forgetting things and then all the waitresses decided to sit in a booth and have their lunch despite customers still waiting for things I finally had to raise my hand to get a to go plate which seemed to piss them off then get to checkout where they charged us for something we did not order. We told our waitress several time we wanted the lunch menu items and she charged us the full dinner price and when we told her all hell broke loose they where very rude and would not change it to the correct price I will definitely not be going back and I’d advise anyone else to go to any other Mexican restaurant besides this one there are way to many in the Pooler area to put up with rude crooks who can not...

This time, I stayed away from anything in the menu that was spicy. I ordered the Veracruz- tender, juicy filets of chicken breast topped with sautéed garlic shrimp and onions. It was served with beans, rice, corn tortillas, and a salad. The Husband had enchiladas topped with a generous serving of beef chunks, tomatoes, and onions. He declared it delicious, and his clean plate was proof. My food was also delicious, but I was stuffed and had leftovers. As usual, we were served warm and crispy tortilla chips with salsa. The horchata was creamy and delicious.

Overall, we had a nice visit. The service was a bit slow, but it was a busy night. It would be nice if management would consider installing brighter lighting. Last, but not least, a deep cleaning (food debris on the walls, dirty blinds), would really enhance the...
