The food was really good. The staff friendly. The only reason I didn’t give a five was the wait but in their defense they were super busy. I think it was the owner or manager that came around (when things slowed down a little) to our table and apologized for the wait and checked to see if everything was alright. That was refreshing. Everyone was really nice and checked on us a couple of times. I would definitely go back and recommend trying this great deli. The sandwiches and subs are really big. I ordered the Colorado which was wonderful.Ver flavorful with green peppers, cheese, roast, onions. I asked if they could toast it which just made it even better. The place looked really clean and bright. There are television places up high around the dinning area so people can watch sports. They are not turned up so you are not disturbed by noise while eating. Best of all worlds! They did have beer and wine available for purchase. They also followed the letter of the law and checked ID’s. So when you get there you can either go straight up to the counter and order or take a seat and look at the menu. You do have to go up to the counter and order your meal and pay. You then can sit and wait for your number to be called. One of the employees also let us know that they do deliver. I am not sure how far out they deliver, but it is only a two dollar charge no matter how large the order. This would be great to use this service for a working office lunch. All and all they did great with how busy they were. It was Friday night and a lot of people were without power. So They were really busy. The food was delicious. Can’t wait to go back and try something else. I knew it had to be good when we drive up and got out of the car and it smelled so good. I hope you give this business...
Read moreI went to jimmy’s today with my boyfriend and i was so excited to finally get a chance to go there. I used to do DD deliveries and I’d picked up a few orders for customers before. The place was busy and the food smelled great. We’re originally from California and trying to find good restaurants in Hampton Roads has always been disappointing. So when we agreed to find new pizza places I said lets eat at Jimmy’s. I REALLY wish I didn’t suggest it. The restaurant is clean, the waitress is so sweet and helpful but my God the food was bad. First I ordered the mild wings thinking it would be in buffalo sauce. Smh instead they were burnt over cooked wings with no flavor. I ate them because I was starving but let my bf eat the rest. The pizza was no better than a frozen pizza from the store. The mushrooms were from a can but the bell peppers were fresh. I could tell because they were barely cooked. The outside of the pizza was cooked but the middle was a watery mess, just like frozen pizza. Any other time I would have complained but I didn’t want to bother the waitress bc she was so sweet. Idk why Hampton Roads loves subpar food but I guess if you grew up on it then you’re ok with it. This place is hard...

I stopped by Jimmy da Greek’s on a whim while getting my car serviced nearby. One of the staff at the shop recommended a few local spots, and I decided to try Jimmy da Greek’s. I wasn’t super hungry, so I went with one of Jimmy’s own suggestions—the egg rolls.
Let me tell you, these egg rolls came out hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. I didn’t think I could eat much, but I ended up crushing all three. They were surprisingly filling. So filling that I didn’t need anything else to eat for the rest of the day!
A few weeks later, my wife and I hosted a small family gathering at the house, and I ordered a catering tray with 48 egg rolls. They were a massive hit—everyone kept asking where they were from and raving about how good they were.
Huge shoutout to Jimmy for the top-tier service, both when I dined in and throughout the catering process. He and his team are true professionals—friendly, responsive, and genuinely care about their food and...
