Captain Skrip's Office Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Port Huron Charter Township

My original 5 star review had over 10000 views! Over the past few years my opinion on this place has changed as has my review! I do not recommend this place. I use to be a regular and I use to have a lot of fun but this place is like a portal of evil! If you want your night ruined, go here. I will not be back! First time back there in months and months and as usual bad things happen. On video I have been attacked at least 3 times at this bar and every time they accuse me of being the problem yet, it's on video and they take the side of the evil! Im well known in all the bars yet this is the only bar that I have ever been kicked out of (while there is proof I was messed with all night and than attacked) I do not recommend bars that have bad vibes or bad people and this place is full of them. If your traveling in the area, I would try some of the other bars first. The owner is a drunk(per everyone I know) and they have favorites 😂 Literally... Don't drink to much because they will throw you out like trash instead of looking out for you. I know many MEN they have done this too. They have spoke about customers to others customers during working hours starting confrontation between customers, which is extremely unprofessional, Iv heard and seen it! Their bouncers bully customers and I CAN and WILL give you the names of MANY customers who would be happy to tell you their side! This bar has completely went down hill since the owner fired her sister. Her sister was the BEST bartender EVER and she could sing like crazy! She was kind unlike most of the staff at this bar! The only good thing I can say about this place is the karaoke host is an awesome person! He has a cover band which you could follow! The rest of these people are not good. The dance floor is hoodrat, unfriendly, unkind, and not fun... Unless you're completely oblivious. The Active Bar has free pool and Karaoke nights, Outpost Bar has Karaoke nights and often times has a band, and Bell River has 6 free pool tables and Karaoke nights and pool tournament nights for a buy in. My husband and I just moved to the area. our Nextdoor neighbors said this was the place to hang out and meet the neighbors. So, we decided to give it a try. Big mistake, we walked in we saw a group of people sitting at the left side of the bar and a couple groups of people sitting at tables. It wasn’t terribly busy. There was two Barmaids. We sat at the middle of the bar. Older barmaid looked at us younger barmaid never acknowledged us. We continued to sit and watched both mermaids, chatting with the other customers. We waved at the old barmaid and trying to get a drink order going. And she completely ignored us although making eye contact with my husband. So we decided to leave. I DJ karaoke here Wed Thurs and Fri and love to have fun singing and dancing with the bartenders and customers. The karaoke starts at 9 pm every night (except Sunday 7pm) There is dance music on request and you can sing just about anything you want. All types of people will feel welcome and appreciated here. Drinks are reasonable and the food is good. Food until 9 weekdays and 10 bar time on weekends-- inexpensive nachos anytime!!
