Delectable Delights — Restaurant in Port Orange

DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!!! They are difficult to get a hold of and don't answer their voicemail or email in 24 hours as they claim. We are lucky they even showed up for our wedding.

My wife and I used this company through our venue because they were at a wedding show hosted by our venue. We had a difficult time booking this baker and tried to get a tasting set. We had a difficult time getting confirmation that they revived our checks. We had no confirmation on anything until a few days before our wedding.

To top it all off, we were promised a top tier would be baked for us on our 1 year anniversary. I tried to get a hold of them for two weeks and out of the blue they tell us in a email that we paid a discounted rate so we didn't get the offer of our top tier cake. Shocking to me that we did not know this. We paid $600 dollar for our cake and what we believed to be a top tier. We also bought other treat and stuff for our wedding as well but that can be forgotten. They get one star just for taste.

I could have seen myself buying cakes for birthdays or anniversary but no. I would give a lower rating if I could. Please do not do business with this company. They lie and cheat you our of what...

If you like prompt and professional communication this is not the place. If you have no timeline. No worries...this may be the place for you. Here is my experience:

I called one afternoon to inquire about a wedding cake for A wheat allergy. Spoke with Angela. She seemed accommodating enough. Gave me her email address and told me to Email her details and some pics for my wedding theme. To make a very long story short, over the course of 3 weeks I sent 4 emails, one Instagram message, left 2 VM only for her to respond with a very rude email about how she doesn’t have time to answer me because it’s wedding season. And did I know she was the only one who does everything?!? And then follows it up With “there’s only one spot left for your wedding day” (Which is EXACTLY why I was borderline harassing her!!!! It’s 6 months until my wedding!!)

She THEN proceeded to price me, as if I would continue doing business with her.

All in all, the owner operator is overwhelmed and has difficulties maintaining her professionalism while under pressure. But hey...that’s probably why she owns her own business. She can do as...

Delectable Delights baked our wedding cake, groom's cake, and all of the desserts for our rehearsal dinner. I have never found another bakery to match in taste and texture, especially not one that is so reasonably priced. Angie was a pleasure to work with, she even made multiple suggestions to help make sure we were completely satisfied with our orders. The wedding and groom's cakes were set up perfectly and we had only 2 slices of cake left (only one left from the groom's cake and neither my husband nor I even got a piece at the wedding) - even though I had purposely ordered extra cake so we could enjoy it after the stress of the wedding. Anytime I need cookies or desserts for an event, Delectable Delights is the first place I call. Their vanilla bean cookies are the perfect platform for corporate logos, announcement, or just cute images/phrases for baby/wedding showers or birthdays. I live for Delectable Delights' holiday...
