Hibachi Express Japanese Restaurant — Restaurant in Port Orange

So I been coming to this location since Day one every other week with no problem. However today i placed an order over the phone for Hibachi rice which I informed him fried rice then he repeated after me steam rice. Therefore i went with steam rice because I figure that’s the rice I always get. So next thing you know before leaving out I check my plate then realized I had the wrong rice. Without touching anything I asked the lady at the front if I can have the rice that always come with it. With an attitude she told me she can’t switch it because that’s what I ordered and it’s my mistake. I informed her I said fried rice but when the other employee said steam I figured that’s the rice that always come with it. She then stated with an attitude if she change it I’m getting charged when I never even left the front counter because I checked my bag right away. After she saw I was getting an attitude she offered to change it for free when she really didn’t want to. I also notice they give us smaller plates now compared to what they use to. I won’t be coming back due to the bad customer service today . I will take my business elsewhere for an simple issue that could’ve been resolved without her giving...

EDIT TO UPDATED REVIEW AND RATING, 1/20/2021: As of now, I've had the sushi and sashimi from here enough to comfortably review it. The Dragon Roll (Eel, cucumber, imitation crab, avacodo, eel sauce) in particular was disappointing. I am sincerely not one to question the extremely skilled chefs who specialize in sushi, but the Dragon Roll was served with eel missing from 3 of the 8 pieces, and with the lid pressed firmly down on the tops, which made the sesame and eel sauce stick more to the lid than the roll. This was my first time trying eel and I still stand by their ingredients being fresh, but I would say in the future I'll stick to their hibachi and bentos. The ingredients are obviously fresh, everything tastes very clean and the cooking is not overly spiced or greasy. This is the first asian restaraunt I have found that has been willing to crack a raw egg onto my steamed rice, surprisingly, and it was amazing with the teriyaki chicken. I am excited to go back soon, as their sashimi cuts all looked and smelled extremely fresh and delicious, and their green tea and red bean ice creams sound really interesting. Thank you...

This place only takes care of their guests if they order by phone or online! Walked in at 5:40pm 1 person inside, already ordered. I made my order 5:44pm, 1 chicken hibachi, 1 steak hibachi & 3 simple rolls. I stood inside while watching them make order after order for online, DoorDash, call ins etc, while I waited an HOUR before I asked where my food was, and they were just now starting it! And wrong at that! I ordered med rare and I heard them say medium, as I repeated back “not medium, medium rare”. So, I thought they were correcting it, and giving me my money back. So I waited, and they acted surprised I still wanted my food. I’m sitting there with my daughter waiting for dinner, of course I want it! If I knew it was going to be an hour I would’ve went to an actual hibachi and got the whole show! No restaurant etiquette, no customer relations. Nothing Express about this place!
