Five Star Pizza — Restaurant in Port Orange

Im a guy that's pretty picky about what he eats. I saw the reviews online and that the pizza is made with real wisconsin cheese. High quality ingredients is important to me. I decided to give the veggie pizza a go by ordering it over the phone (1.24.2018) light baked.

When I arrived I was very skepitcal. No one was at the counter for about a minute. I was looking around and notice they had the same setting as another major pizza chain that doesn't have pizzas id care for.

I started to have 2nd thoughts about buying the pizza I ordered. Then this nice young man walked up to me with a smile. I was having a conversation with him about what I notice with the place and that I ordered the pizza because of reviews and because they advertise wisconsin cheese for their pizza.

I left paying for it. To my surprise on my way home opening the box and seeing the pizza, feeling out the doe and tasting it I was shocked and blown away.

The doe actually tasted fresh and real. It almost had like a bogget taste. I couldn't believe it.

I let it cool down a little when I got back home because of my gums and teeth sensitivity. I finally took a bite of the pizza. It was soft the way I wanted it, the cheese was tasting high quality like I get from whole foods.

To my surprise the sauce was really good too and veggies were actually fresh. I truly felt I bought a good pizza. I enjoyed it. Too bad I have a dentist appointment tomorrow and wont be eating it again anytime soon.

The driver texts that he’s outside my house so I head outside and not 15 seconds after the text, he’s all the way across the street honking his horn repeatedly (impatient?) as I’m trying to wave him down to get him to stop until I’m in front of his vehicle and he’s still honking looking down until he finally sees me, meanwhile my food is sitting on the ground at some random persons doorstep while he’s waiting in his car. I say to him you got the wrong house and he acts like it’s my fault that he went to the wrong location (other drivers had no problem finding it and I guess before I went outside he was knocking on somebody’s back door that didn’t even have a driveway leading up to their door). I go inside to get the cash and he tells me sorry for being rude but you got your lunch so everything alright now. Yeah.. besides the fact honking in your car like a mad man with no regard for anyone else’s peaceful afternoon and the fact that the 25$ pizza was vastly undercooked. I didn’t catch the drivers name I didn’t get a receipt. Needless to say they lost a customer and they need to lose this unprofessional driver if they want to retain any...

Why can't any pizza shop continue to make the same pizza. I'm originally from Boston and have lived in Florida for 10yrs now. Ever since moving here I have noticed a BIG problem with all the pizza shops in the area, Not any one of them cook the pizza the same way from the first time I tried it. WHY?? Tonight we received a pizza that was so thin and had absolutely no crust to it. The Last time we had their pizza, it had a nice crust on it but the sauce was flowing off the pizza and so on. I really thought, I finally found a great pizza shop till this started happening on different occasions. In my opinion, I really believe if a Pizza Shop could continue to put out the same product they would have loads of returning customers. While living in Boston for 42 years, you can call or go out to eat at a pizza shop and know you're going to get... The same pizza that you enjoyed and that's why pizza shops up North always work out!
