Not impressed. To start three of the four tables outside that were available were very dirty. There was dried up ice cream and sprinkles. Tables were just a mess. Second the no-see-ums were so bad that it made it uncomfortable to sit there and enjoy the ice cream. And finally the turtle Sunday that I had ordered was fine the ice cream tasted like ice cream and chocolate like chocolate but it had whole pecans now for an adult eating a Sunday that may be okay but if a child was to order that and choke on one of those huge whole pecans you'd be out of business. Chop up the pecans! All this being said I will be back but I won't be ordering any more Sundays and I probably will get it to go. Read moreWe had tried Frozen Gold at another location, so when they took over the Ritters spot, we decided to give it a try. On our first visit, I had the rocky road in a waffle cone and was happy that the chocolate ice cream was darker than at other places I've tried. My husband had the root beer Italian ice, which was refreshing. On our latest trip, I decided to try a simple, soft serve vanilla cone in a cake cone. I ordered the medium and it was bigger than my head. Absolutely huge! But I'm not complaining. :-)
