City Center Sports Complex — Local services in Port Orange

Love, love, triple love the best complex anywhere around the area. Filled with activity offerings from arts & crafts festivals to outdoor music, the city library, a beautiful walking path around a giant lake, the YMCA, and youth sports. My stepson, who was a hermit, is in his third year of soccer and loves it. Between this and ice hockey, he is actually happy to step away from his computer and has become almost human once again! It's a small sporting complex with baseball/ softball fields and soccer fields. There is also a little playground and bathroom. If the bathroom is locked there are porta potties available as well. The fields are well maintained and the programs are well organized. We have gone during the day to get extra practice and it's really nice to be able to access the fields and nets. My only wish is that they would light the parking areas after the sun goes down. Beyond that I can't think of anything that...

Nice setup complete with port-a-potties conveniently placed near the sports fields. Bright lights for after the sun goes down and bleachers for seating. My only wish is they would light the parking area nearest the soccer fields if they aren't going to pave it. It's hard to see where to exit and the area is really bumpy. It would be nice to have parking near the fields instead of over by the playground. A little light could help people feel safer and not possibly twist an...
