Port Orange Skate Park — Attraction in Port Orange

This skatepark was so nice to visit! You'll have to go through the rec room and sign up to go inside, But it's free! I went once they opened so it was completely empty. Before you get into the skatepark you have to pass this hallway that includes two clean separate bathrooms, a water fountain, and a row of lockers you can use to put your stuff away which is really convenient. There is also another water fountain once you are in the park too, with cold water! Smallish park but packed with features. It's not small as in square feet, but the features are relatively small, which makes it great for learning new approaches and for kids and old men like me just trying to have fun without our Superman capes. Our experience was that tons of kids come here pretty often, but for the most part everyone was respectful and patient. Young kids just learning to guys doing fakie tailslides to 270 out type stuff. Hands down one of the nicest skate parks in the area. Very smooth concrete, very well maintained. It is a smaller park, geared more to those who are beginners to intermediate skaters/riders.
