Man, literally every time we come here, something gets worse. I don't know if it's just the later shift (we average around 8) or if something's seriously wrong, but the whole place just keeps getting worse. The past few edits to this review have talked about slow service, confusion, suspension-tearing potholes, misunderstandings, lukewarm fries that taste like day-old fast food oil, burgers sloppily thrown together with too much or too little sauce and such, but this last visit was even worse.
I stopped by a couple days ago, but they were out of a bunch of stuff (probably related to the weather, maybe?) so I skipped it then, but today the only thing out was the frozen drinks and whatever, so I finally dropped by to pick up some food for my grandparents.
Cars are parked out in front of the BK; weird, but okay. BK doesn't close for a few hours. Pull up to the menu mic, nothing, no response. I wait a bit, still nothing. Ask if anyone's there, nothing. Figure they're closed, so I put my hand on the shifter to back up, but before I can change to reverse, they answer, asking what I'm ordering. I order. Misunderstanding. Repeat. Order is received. Pull up to window with a friendly cashier, pay, and get our drink, get told to park out front of the BK. I pull out, swerve around three potholes of pure black of unknown depth in the darkness. Other cars are waiting, drivers look mad or tired. One gets super mad and peels the car out of the parking lot, zooming off to who-knows where with empty hands. Another waits around for a bit, then leaves. Me and another car or two. Some time passes, but I've been ill, so I open a game on my phone to distract myself. BK worker steps out, looks for the missing cars, goes back in. 20 minutes pass, other car gets food, then leaves. Two cars pull into the drive-thru, both join me in the lot. Waiting. Another car makes their order, a van loaded with noisy people, maybe a party or something. Second car from earlier returns calmly, then the first car from before swerves in like an action movie star, nearly skidding into their parking space. BK worker steps out, I get our food, someone else gets theirs. Car now smells like day-old fast food fry oil. Usually sneak a few fries for the drive home, don't do it this time, smells weird. I bring the food home, Grandma eats three fries and then does her kindly old woman "do you have fries? Here, you can have mine" thing she does when she has food she hates, then immediately picks her burger apart looking for something "yucky". Read moreThis location has not gotten a single order right in two years. We order from them every other month or more. Every single time, the order is missing something. We order like 4 sandwiches and 4 sides. I guess the workers can't look at a list and make sure EIGHT items are in a bag. This location needs to be closed. The workers are absolutely incompetent. Every time we go in to ask for them to the mistake to be corrected, employees are in there on their phones, goofing off, etc. Can you guys not count to eight? My first job was working for Burger King and I wouldn't have lasted a week doing what this crew does and I was 16, these are adults. Either fire everyone or close the location. Sure I could stop eating here, but good Lord is it too much to ask for one correct order out of 20+? I keep telling myself, they can't mess up ANOTHER order but my god do they ever. Can you imagine NEVER doing your job correctly and just being like meh. I just want a cheap burger and fries. If I wanted to get bent over and not get what I paid for I could pay the homeless person in the bushes out side of the location to do the same. Save yourself the sanity and eat literally anywhere else. The other day I was going to get a burger and fries for lunch but decided against it and ate foliage near me instead. At least I got what I was promised. The only reason we even try is because the kids want burger king once in awhile. But so help me god I would rather pay someone to take them to a Michelin star restaurant to eat then give this plane one more cent. I NEVER leave reviews because I just didn't care, but for the love of god, choose eating rocks over this place. These employees would be better suited getting paid to pick up trash on the highway, even then they would miss the bright yellow piece of trash they just tripped over. But we sure enjoy the free small fry burger king offered us as compensation.
Update: ordered tonight hoping they would only miss one or two things... Two sides missing and sandwiches made completely ignoring modifications that cost extra. I am a big supporter of raising minimum wage but this place has me doubting...
Read moreBeware of this Burger King. I ordered the new fiery nuggets and don't get me wrong, they're good but what disappointments me is that they charge for each sauce cup. The nuggets are supposed to come with a sauce cup, but this Burger King charges for each one. On the menu board, it clearly states that there is a sauce cup included with the nuggets, and yet I was charged for each one. I got two BBQ sauces and was charged 50 cents for them. I noticed that I was charged for them and notified the front staff about the charges. They are told to charge the sauce cups no matter what. When I pointed out that the menu board clearly states that the sauce cup is included, they were sincerely shocked. The staff member offered to remedy the situation by offering additional sauces for me, but wouldn't give me a refund for the charges. I've been to many Burger King locations and I've never been charged for sauce cups. This location is definitely not a place I would return to because of the rule to charge every single sauce cup per their direction of the manager/franchise owner. I will make the extra effort to go to McDonald's or Taco Bell or any other nearby place to avoid this Burger King. The only reason I'm giving this a two star rating is because of the staff, who were sincere and hard working, and the food tasted good. P.S.
