Cafe 2.0 — Restaurant in Port Orford

We arrived at about 10+am, stopped by while driving along the highway due to the high google ratings. Unfortunately we feel it doesn’t deserve the 4.8 stars. Food took way too long to come and it seems like the kitchen cannot handle the number of orders even though the cafe was half full. There were also no forks at our table. Food is mediocre, nothing fantastic at all. Would not recommend.

In response to owner’s reply: it would have been good if customers were given at least a heads up regarding the waiting time and staff shortage before ordering food. it is always better to give a heads up than have your customers grumpy from the wait. This place is super dope! Small business, great food , appropriately priced. Beautiful interior design with a nice modern balance of comfort and restaurant. Nice couch and decor touches give it a feel like you can hang there.

Lots of good basics on the menu. I could have ordered many things.

I had French Toast ($8) which was good. Only criticism would be missing a piece if fruit and powdered sugar. Also had a quiche ($3.50) in house made very nice. My wife had a combo plate with Quiche, gluten free toast, and sausage. All were very nice ($13) The waitress was very attentive and pleasant.

This is a great small cafe serving breakfast and lunch. They have plenty of inside seating, and a couple of outside seats for nice weather or if you bring your dog. We both had the BBQ pulled chicken sandwich, it had just the right amount of BBQ, so we could taste the rest of the sandwich. yumm! A Couple of mild Peppercini rings are on top as well as a small amount of slaw or cabbage, but it can be removed f wanted. Service was great, not too many questions, just right. Food was warm, served fast, and correct. The salad was fancy lettuce leafs and spinach, with Vinaigrette dressing. That was not huge, but it was enough. Overall a great local place.
