Vegetarians at first seem to have slim pickin’s for places to eat in Port Orford. But this place has options that are quite good! There are vegan options too if you prefer. MY wife had the falafel patty sandwich and I got the Beyond Meat burger and they were delicious! They have a fixin’s bar to put what you like on the burger and sandwich, including fresh grown tomatoes, lettuce and other veggies as well as sauces and other condiments. Their baked goods are really great! Quite a few choices too. Their menu on Google maps doesn’t list vegan options but take a look at the uploaded menu photos I posted.

Wow. Where to begin. First, this place is amazing. Drive a little out of your way amazing. If you're driving the Oregon coast it's a must stop. They have so much. Amazing hot and cold sandwiches. I elected for a fresh caught albacore tuna salad. To die for. Hot panini on sourdough with havarti. They have many cheese options, many bread options. Smoothies. Breakfast. A dope salad bar with homemade salads and sauces and dressings. Ice cream. Homemade dog treats. A case with pastries and cakes. A frozen case of homemade premade dinners. The staff is so helpful! Just wow. Eat here.

When we arrived to the restaurant, we were greeted by a calm rustic scenery, kinda of a camping vibe. We went inside, put culinary gloves on, and grabbed a paper plate. They had three hot food items, and a salad bar. I scooped up myself some liver and onions, spinach, pickled onions, and tomatoes. The dressing was some sort of cucumber. Lastly, there was outdoor seating. I loved the liver, unlike other liver I've had, this live and onion didn't have that gamey taste. The salad tasted fresh, and the dressing was to die for.

We love this place! Note, there's no place to dine inside and if the weather is crazy you won't want to eat outside. BUT, it's so worth it, we took it to go and ate in our car. Back story. We stopped here on a road trip a couple years ago and on our way through the area again we couldn't remember the name of OR figure out which town it was in - But I remembered we got a picture with my phone, so we searched our old photos! Found it and mapped it out! The food was just as delicious this time as it was two years ago. They have SO many options for vegetarians, vegans, or those with dietary restrictions. If you eat meat, there's still lots to choose from. No one can go away hungry. :) We got vegan burgers, garlic sourdough loaf, and my favorite is this amazing broccoli slaw salad. SO satisfying! They're a bit off the beatin' trail, but are always busy when we're there, so clearly people know where to...

If you are driving through town and are hungry, you should definitely come here. If you are not hungry you should also come here and buy some ready-to-cook items (like eggplant parmesan and others I can't remember) or at least some bakery items for desert or snacks later.

It's a small shop with an amazing assortment of home-made food, bakery items, and a salad and hot food bar with surprising variety. There are soups plus a sizeable menu for made-to-order items.

Everything looked and smelled very yummy (the whole shop smelled fantastic), and all items we purchased (crab cakes, brussels sprouts in balsamic vinegar, local caught tuna salad, baklava, flaky apple pastry, carrot cake muffin) were extremely tasty. The prices were reasonable as well.

If this shop were near where I live, I might have to give up cooking, I enjoyed...

My friend and I went to Port Orford for a senior trip, and if we hadn't been in town Monday through Wednesday, we would've had a hard time going anywhere else for food. It's literally worth planning your trip around the days this place will be open. Really incredible prices—we are Californian, so I guess our experiences push us toward high cost expectations, but we got lunch, a carrot cake, marionberry hazelnuts, and breakfast for the next day (a loaf of sourdough, cheese, and hummus) for $56 with a 15% tip. My only regrets are not getting a chocolate trifle and not tipping more, because I have high standards for food and this stuff...
