As a social media influencer who LOVES rating restaurants and bakeries, I can honestly say this is the BEST bakery I’ve visited so far!!! and trust me, I do surprise visits without notice! From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warmth and passion the owners put into every single item. The pastries are always fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. You can taste the love in every bite. The staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely care about making sure you leave happy. The shop itself is spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated, making it the perfect spot to grab a treat, relax, and enjoy the atmosphere. I stopped by La Rubia Cuban Bakery and everything I tried was delicious. I ordered an iced coffee, a croqueta, a polvorón, and a cheese pastelito — and honestly, nothing disappointed. The iced coffee was smooth and refreshing, the croqueta had that perfect crispy outside and creamy inside, and the polvorón had the exact crumbly, melt-in-your-mouth texture you expect. The cheese pastelito was warm, flaky, and so good I could’ve easily eaten another one.

I was so long waiting for this place opens! The quality food that I try ( pastries, ham croquetas, Cuban desserts like Torrejas and a slice of Brazo Gitano) was very good in general. This are my BUT: The Guava Oriental Pastel is not the original, it have the same texture than the regulars, so technically is not the oriental pastry. They don’t sell bread ( I was expecting it has a bakery) some Cuban bread or something similar.
