I want to start off by saying your server Amanda is literally top tier and I hope she finds another job elsewhere because I’ve never had the most amazing punctual experience.
HOWEVER we waited 20 minutes for garlic bread. No water or drinks (per our request) so literally just bread.
We had reservations in the plaza elsewhere. When we told Amanda she said okay. I’m assuming the manager proceeded to follow us out the restaurant saying “ma’am your food will be ready we have delivery orders to cook as well” I turned and said “it’s okay, we have reservations elsewhere.” She says “you can’t just dine and dash” I immediately stopped in my tracks disgusted and said “we didn’t dine and dash we didn’t even have water” and she said louder “you dined and dashed! You can’t just order food and not pay for it”
I proceeded to walk back over to the door where Amanda was standing with the lady (average hight and weight, Jersey shore look alike with a really bad weave and jet black hair) and proceeded to hand Amanda 2 $20 bills and said “Amanda the other $20 is for you”
I have never been so disrespected in my entire life. The bread was $10, I hope and pray that Amanda proceeded to get all $30 left over from that $40 after the repulsion the manager put both Amanda, myself and my friend through.
EDIT to respond to the business response: You’re saying that you knead the dough into garlic knots / bread while people are sitting and waiting and bake the knots? According to all recipes it takes 12-20 minutes at 400 degrees to bake garlic knots from raw dough to a safe temperature to eat. So your less than 13 minutes comment would suggest these are semi or completely precooked and just need to be reheated.
Regardless of the time the fact that your waitress could be so comfortable to scream down the plaza is embarrassing for a business. You should evaluate both your in-person and virtual customer service as neither seem to be an elevated experience.
I will not be coming back and I will continue to express the importance of avoiding a business who lacks a high quality of...
Read moreIt was our first time there and I really wanted to like this place because their pictures in Fb... we finally went this past Wednesday. I was eating the garlic knots, waiting for our food. At a quick glance I thought there was a large piece of parsley on the other side of my garlic knot, but I was chatting so I really didn't pay much attention. But my husband prevented me from eating it, I wanted to throw up when I saw what was served on my food: it wasn't parsley, it was A HUGE Dead FLY. Needless to say I did not want to eat anything else anymore there. I just wanted to go back home (I brushed my mouth 5 times). I just don't understand how can this happen. I didn't do any talking, I was just really trying to hold it to myself. But I don't know if people in this restaurant aren't really trained for these situations, my husband told the waiter, at the same time there's a lady bringing our main courses (who looked like the manager), she lays the dishes at the table, the waiter told her abort the fly while she was doing so, and the only thing she said was... "omg these flies go everywhere, do you want us to pack your plate?" I said no. (thinking in my head I don't want to eat another FLY!). She was literally there for only 5 seconds to put the plate on the table, the waiter told her while she was doing so, and took the plates back. It was so awkward. My husband said to the waiter, who's still standing next to us, "you can charge us for what we ordered, but we won't eat it any more, sorry but we lost our appetite" (my husband is the only one apologizing here, not sure why??), the waiter responded "oh no you don't need to" and we left. What and awkward and...
Read moreWe had high hopes for this place as it's about 5 minutes from a house and REALLY wanted to find a family friendly place close to us. The sitting space isn't the best, felt like they crammed as many tables randomly as they could.. we had abouy a foot or 2 of space between us and the next table (I could reach them with my arm stretched out). Anyhow, we were given some garlic knots, which was nice of them, but they were sitting in oil and I mean A LOT of it.. Moving on.. we ordered a 16" pizza for myself and my husband and penne pasta for the kids. Well.. our pizza came out but the kids' food didn't. So hubby and I sat there and waited for at least 5+ minutes until the pasta came out. Why on earth would you NOT prepare the kids' meals first?! Mind you, the meals were plain penne pasta and penne pasta with red sauce, simple. Onto the pizza.. it was soggy.. all we added were olives.. the crust wasn't hard at all, if anything it was flimsy, almost under cooked. The cheese was way too thick for the crust.. it all just..sagged. Once the waitress brought the pizza.. and then the kids meals, she never came back! When she did come back we asked for a kids refill.. after that.. gone again for another 20+ minutes. After we finished our soggy food.. we waited forever just to get boxes and the check. This meal was definitely NOT worth the $57 we paid, highly disappointed and won't be returning. Save your...
